“On my top 5 of favorites places in Gables area! Our second time here, excellent restaurant, good service, good prices, comparing with how expensive is right now going out in Miami. Plus, the music is not so loud, for some reason in a lot of Italian places they have super annoying loud music. The pasta with clams was good on our first visit, this second time we ordered pear salad, spaghetti bologna and lasagna. Everything was great and big portions, but the lasagna was OUTSTANDING. All the staff were always friendly and attentive.”

“This was our first meal in Miami after a long delayed flight. We didn't have reservations but they let us in for 2 hour seating. It was happy hour until 7 pm but because it was really muggy outside we didn't get any of the alcoholic drinks. The ones we saw on other tables looked nice presentation wise. The staff was really friendly. We enjoyed the food though I think it would be better to order a lot of different things and treat it more like tappas instead of single meals. The atmosphere was nice and since it was open but we still had shelter where we sat. I personally loved coffee.”

“We had a 12 hour layover in Miami on our trip abroad. We had a lovely brunch on Xmas eve, we were grateful they were open (unlike the last 2 places we tried beforehand). I tried the sayulita cocktail (which was like a mezcal old fashioned) a white sangria, and the California eggs Benedict. The seating outside was great, covered (saved us from a rain shower) but beautiful breeze. My boyfriend had the Dutch apple pancake and the south point punch cocktail and a mimosa. The food was excellent! Fresh, flavors well balanced and good portions! Will come again when we are back in town!”

“This is my third visit here and each time was consistent. The food was good, not over seasoned, a large portion and very reasonably priced. The service was good and our waitress would always check on us. We never came here during there busy time so I cannot speak for that. My go to Italian dish is spaghetti and meatballs and I think they did a great job with taste and portion size. I will absolutely return! My review today is based on a pick up order. I ordered food for pick up and when I arrived they gave me my food and when I got to my car I realized that they forgot a part of my order and I had to go back inside to get my missing order. When I got home which was less than a 10 minute drive we sat down for dinner and we unfortunately found the garlic rolls to be hard which often they are typically amazing. They were hard and unable to eat. We tried to microwave them to hopefully get them soft but that didn’t help. I believe whoever placed them in the bag for me to take home had to realize that they were not soft and should have never given those to us. My advice to anyone who is picking up an order would be to check everything which is a lesson learned for myself. And what was sad is that the time of our order and pick up was a very slow time.”

“This place was great! Food was phenomenal. We had the appetizer seafood trio (shrimp, oysters and tuna crude), veal chop, lasagna, chocolate cake and ice cream sundae scoop. The lasagna was extra cheesy for cheese lovers. The chocolate cake was the best we’ve had and the ice cream sundae scoop was delicious. Service was amazing and very attentive. Cocktails and wine were to die for - SO good. We reserved a lounge table. We’ve never been and I was nervous the restaurant would be stuffy/pretentious. We were hoping for an elegant but fun Friday happy hour and dinner. The lounge was nice..It was small and intimate. There weren’t many people and early on there were a couple of families with younger kids. The only negative thing I have to say is that we couldn’t help but feel that this restaurant really could have been anywhere. We’re from Chicago and this could have been a number of nice restaurants in Chicago. It didn’t really feel like we were in Miami..if you know what I mean. But, it was lovely regardless!”

“Last Miami Spice stop before end of month and a good way to end two months a fine dining and indulging in some of the best food in Miami. The restaurant is located at the St Regis which is just a stunning hotel and the entrance lobby is gorgeous. Can’t necessarily say the same for this restaurant because truth be told, it was a little underwhelming as far as the vibes is concerned. It might be too lit as far as the actual lighting is concerned or the mostly white aesthetic but it didn’t work for me, personally. Now as far as service and food, well that’s a different story. Yoel, the server, was most professional, helpful and knowledgeable but especially attentive at all times. So let’s discuss the food and drink options I opted for… ST REGIS GARDENS: wasn’t my favorite; very refreshing but lacking a good punch. APHRODITE: this one was way better, spicy, tasty and packing a good punch. That jalapeño and Tajín on the rim made the difference. GRILLED OCTOPUS: the kalamata olive sauce on the side is fire: octopus cooked to perfection with confit potatoes…spectacular BRANZINO A LA BRIAM: Branzino couldn’t have been cooked any better with golden potatoes on the side. Now the prawn pasta was an option and I looked at some photos on Yelp: portions were small, supposedly. When I tell you my friend showed up later on and her table ordered the pasta and I was mad at how delicious and generous the portion was but when does that happen? Fish was good but pasta was better, way better; I’d go for that instead. LEMON OLIVE CAKE: I’ve only tasted one other olive cake elsewhere and it was a little better. This one was on the drier side but not the worst. Once again, service was superb, food was really good but it wasn’t a memorable dining experience. They validate your valet parking ticket so you only pay $15 for parking plus tip so keep that in mind.”

“We were in the area and stopped by for lunch at around 3:00 pm. They have good reviews, but we were completely disappointed with their service. Our waiter was Daniela. We were the only three souls in the entire restaurant. So there was no reason for not having a promt and attentive server. They have QR code at the table to scan and look at the menu. But that doesn't justify Daniela not coming to our table to say hello and ask if we had any questions or even bring us water. It took her 20 mins to serve us water, I'm not exaggerating. She left the water and was leaving. I had to stop her and ask about certain items from the menu and quickly made our decision. (We were parked at a meter and had paid for 2 hrs thinking that was more than enough time to grab a quick lunch) The food also took a while to get to our table. I'm not the type of person that prefers a rushed service when at a restaurant. But I have to call this one out because the place was completely empty and the total lack of attention was incredible. The food was decent. But the unjustified lack of service ruined the experience for us. A quick tip to the owner/manager consider NOT including 18% gratuity and maybe your service will improve. (Party size 2 adults and a 6 yrs old) I am catering business owner and I understand the importance of tipping the staff when they deserve it. Gratuity has to be earned... THE FOOD: Empanadas (Chicken and Beef) were not good as the meat could have been better seasoned. The Milanesa Margarita was good. The Beef Carpaccio was average. The "flat bread" (which is actually a pizza) for our daughter in my opinion was a disaster. She's 6 and she liked it but she also loves the "Pizza Lunchables" cold out of the refrigerator. This place isn't cheap at least have a decent pizza.”

“A surprise private outdoor dining area that feels private and not like it's right in the heart of Midtown even though it is. We arrived for an early dinner around 530pm and we had the place to ourselves for about an hour. The service was genuine and did not rush you out which was really nice. We didn't get an appetizer,but they brought us a "chefs thank you" dish shortly after placing our drink order which was a nice unexpected treat. The food came out quicker than expected and really was delightful. Sharing a dessert we opted for the tiramisu; it came in a dish with cut strawberries and creme and was one of the best ones I've had in Miami.”
