“Excellent restaurant, rather high grade but with reasonable price. Very nice host. They accommodated an additional table for both of us and our dog. All dishes are very well designed and tastes are outstanding. The service at the table could be slightly improved through a better knowledge on wine. Starter are 17€-22€, prima piatti is ~25€ and secondi 25-30€. The wine card is extensive with a few bottles between 20 to 40€but generally above 50€ /bottle .. which seems a bit excessive to me. The bottle I selected is 38€ and the quality/price ratio was good.”

“Amazing. I loved dining here at ma.ri.na. I loved all the raw shrimp and raw lobster and raw scallops and all the seafood on their 7 course tasting menu. I also shared a 7 course wine pairing to go with all the courses and it was amazing as well. This place is located in busto arizio near the airport and the Ubers are unreliable. So make sure you rent a car to get to this restaurant. (The owner had to drive us back to our hotel at 12am because the uber drivers kept cancelling on us.) Totally worth stopping by! PS- I think this place is worth 2 stars at least and not one star!”

“More by chance we came across the restaurant. We relied on the chef's recommendation for food and wine and were not disappointed: the food was excellent and the wine was a perfect match. In addition, the staff was extremely courteous. We will be back there the next time we are in Varese. Since the restaurant is well attended, it is essential to make reservations in advance.”

“UPDATE: the restaurant is open again, and it is even better! South Italian restaurant that serves pizza and meat plates (you will not find pasta here!). Overall the dishes were well made. We particularly liked the tagliata and the meatballs. The pizza was quite good as well. The service was very friendly and the prices good; very good value for money. It is highly advisable to book in advance, especially for busy days.”

“Nice mountain village based restaurant. Tasty food. Cozy atmosphere. Nice view. Note: the kitchen is not opened all day - only for the regular dining hours. However, you can have appetizers, like meat or a cheese board with house bread which is very nice.”

“Unlucky combination of circumstances perhaps. I took the gastronomic menu, which i did not like too much (the pasta was nice, but i did not like the meat and the starters). The service was a bit slow and they made some mistakes with the bill. Will come back here and will take things a la carte, because it looked all good what others received.”
