“If you live around the area, do not miss this place and visit it as much as you can. If you are visiting Fidenza or Parma, this place is totally worth a detour. You will eat well when you come to La Valle. Staff are friendly, the whole vibe was relaxing. Not too crowded even for a full night. The food is AMAZING! I was told by one of the staff that the chef used to work as a sous chef in Frantzen which has 3 michelin stars. This place does not have any star yet but I will tell you that with a little polish, they will be able to get it in no time. Every single dish that was served to us were phenomenal! My personal favorite was the pasta with mushroom broth! Even without the gold leaf, it was the best broth I have tasted in my life. My only concern was that the meat was served 39 minutes after the pasta. But when it was served, oh my! That meat was worth the wait! I suggest booking a table early, the service becomes slow as the night progresses but this is still a place worth coming back to! I hope they get a Michelin star very soon. Lastly, I was able to book through Google chat function of Google maps. But I believe it will be better if they have a website for booking tables. 🙂”

“As a food lover, I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria del 36, which is highly regarded for its inclusion in the Michelin Guide. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The atmosphere was cozy, rustic, and warm, making me feel right in Italy as soon as I walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly and funny, providing exceptional service throughout the entire meal. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered the duck, and it was one of the best dishes I had during my trip. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the duck was cooked in a really good point. And don't even get me started on the desserts - they were simply wow! Another aspect that stood out to me (don’t laugh please) was the bathrooms. They were the first ones that I felt comfortable using during my entire trip, which may seem like a small detail, but it truly added to the overall experience!! I highly recommend eating here id you are visiting Parma.”

“I had an excellent meal last night at the number one spot in parma but Rosa Croce might have beat that. The flavor, quality of food, service and excellent price were phenomenal. I think it was my best overall meal since my ten days in Italy. The traditional tasting menu was top notch. The meat slice appetizer with pickled veggies and aged Parmesan was the best I had in Parma. The herb tortellini with parma and butter was delicious and the beef course absolutely melted in your mouth it was so tender. Soufflé and mango gelato also super. Do not miss this spot for top notch dining in Parma. Bravo!”

“Ideal location for excursions to Lago Nero, Monte Nero, Bue, Maggiorasca, Ragola... Basic rooms but (not all) with private bathroom, only sheets and blankets are provided. You sleep well. Excellent cuisine, excellent service, good quality/price ratio. The paintings painted by the owner herself stand out on the walls of the internal rooms. It's a shame the outdoor spaces are a bit small.”

“Cosy restaurant in Parma center, we liked the mosaic floor. The antipasto was delicious with quality ham and cheese and coccoli were a nice change from torta fritta. However, the two dishes of pasta we had were not up to Italian standards. We waited about 30minutes between antipasto and dishes. Although the sauces were delicious, one was overcooked vermicelli and the other was very undercooked spaghetti. Seeing other reviews here it is always the case and not a mistake of that day. We wanted initially to take a dessert but after all the wait we chose to go somewhere else. Prices were however reasonable. In all, do go there but don’t take pasta?”
