“This restaurant is great hidden gem. It's a historic building that was built in 1884 and was originally a grocery store. That's why the name "Lee's grocery"still remains. The atmosphere is very laid back. The service that we received was very nice too. The pizza was very tasty and had plenty of styles to choose from. There is a wide selection of beers and sodas. There is a outdoor patio that is fenced-in and pet friendly. The owner is very friendly and down-to-earth.”

“The first time I came here was March 2020 for my dad’s birthday. This review is for 2023 after their Michelin star ⭐️ We ate at the chefs table in the kitchen. Service was great and attentive. We ordered: Bread (10/10) Mozzarella cart (10/10) (amazing mozzarella texture) Pork skewers (8/10) (too fatty) Steak and potatoes (10/10) (the potatoes were insane!!!) Rigatoni (10/10) (best sauce ever) Crab spaghetti (8/10) Apple desert (6/10) Olive oil cake (7/10) Highly recommend this place for group, date, special occasion, or even just dinner. SO good and 10/10 all around.”

“To our surprise, there is an Ava in SoHo. We loved the pizza at the Joinery location, and we're excited to try this location. The decor is very nice and spacious. I started with a ravioli (average) and the bread service, which was the best restaurant bread I've had—the texture of a soft donut with a perfectly crispy exterior. Paired with the whipped ricotta and honey, it's AMAZING. I had to have the Bestia again, but it's not as good as the joinery location(less cheese and sausage). The margarita pizza was very good with pepperoni. Service was okay, but I would definitely return for the bread service option.”

“Cool place to come when visiting Midtown to have a drink. Patio is dog friendly and servers are welcoming and pleasant. Pizza is just OK. For a spot that serves only pizza, you'd think it would come out faster. Took quite some time and just wasn't that good. Super oily, thin crust which is fine, just super hard and crunchy. Like it a little less rock hard and more NY style with more cheese.”
