“This was our first visit here and it sure was a treat to find this place! The staff was very friendly and accommodating...Shout out to the hostess Bella, not only was she gracious and informative about the restaurant, but said it would be a 10 minute wait and she was spot on! As we walked in, the aroma of an Italian kitchen had us set on getting a couple of pizzas! We ordered the Chicken, Bacon and Broccoli Ranch Pie...which was over the top fantastic and also a vegan style pizza called Humble Pie. Wasn't sure how that second one was going to taste but let me tell you it was out of this world! The unique style of a square pizza gave us a crispy crust on all sides and it was just delicious!! Can't wait to visit again, as their menu is packed with all kinds of yummy items! I can see why Iron Born Pizza has won so many awards!! Kudos to the chef and they're wonderful staff!! You have to give this restaurant a try, it won't disappoint!!”

“Let me start by it was my first time ordering and im very very pregnant. I wanted to try something new since I frequent other places near by for a cheesesteak. I ordered online with Toast I enjoyed the ability to customize my steak hoagie. I was also able to call and add something I forgot. Immediately after I ordered I went up I don’t live far away and we waited they were busy. My Husband went in said it was a clean nice family atmosphere. I watched people going in and out. My hoagie was cold right from the restaurant but I did get a big bag a fresh fries. It was a lot of fries for my little half of hoagie but would be perfect for a family. The food was also affordable. I did order a little before 1 but that’s my honest review maybe I’ll have to eat there.”

“I grew up eating Mineos in 90s going to Washington and Mellon School but haven't had it since 2010 until a few days ago. The decor, layout and design are identical to when I went regularly and pizza tasted exactly the same but bit more expensive at 2.25 rather than the 90-1.25 cent slices when I ate it a lot. It's perfectly average greasy pizza that hits the spot any time in a convenient location and seemingly has the exact same staff from 30 years ago putting their passion into it. Reminds me of 2.99 two slices and drink in Times Square New York City.”

“First, let me state that the waitress was phenomenal. She was very receptive to our large party’s request. The atmosphere inside the restaurant has a comfy, home-like Italian feel to it. I agree with another reviewer though, having a sign in your restaurant that says, “Be patient, no one wants to work anymore.” is EXTREMELY tacky. Everyone has the same issues with regards to Post- Covid. Now, as far as the food, appetizers were hit and miss. The zucchini sticks were amazingly long pieces, but underwhelmingly undercooked. There was no crisp to the pieces.The stuffed banana peppers were the highlight of the meal for me! Delicious and had a nice heat to the pepper. Now, unfortunately the peppercorn steak, was almost inedible :/ Partly my fault for reading the menu incorrectly, but a peppercorn crusted steak usually has some peppercorns attached to it. My steak was drowned in the creamy sauce, making the steak soggy, yes soggy. Hopefully they scale back the sauce on the steak. It is a local place, and they have been in business forever, so the regulars are going to be regulars. Just make sure you read over the menu, and if you have requests the friendly wait staff is very accommodating.”

“Called the restaurant to request a table and they made it available in 30 mins. Everything is awesome, just like my first visit here a year ago. The service is warm and lovely as always. Perfect spot for Italian food. I tried a Squash salad with burrata, Gnocci pasta and Rigatoni pasta accompanied with homemade bread that was delicious. I had a great time here. Will continue going here! Simply put, Great Food, Great Place and Great People.”

The dough is delicious to start with- the sauce is seasoned perfectly with generous cheese and toppings! Love being able to walk in for a quick couple of slices with free drink refills. I visited on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised to find a drink cart outside with a small selection of alcoholic beverages; I'm unsure if it's a regular feature. The option to order pizza by the slice made for a quick 5-minute wait, as there was a continuous stream of takeout orders, many of which were pre-orders. The pizza itself exceeded expectations, with a sauce that leaned towards the rich taste of tomato paste, abundant crumbled cheese, and a robust garlic flavor that I found delightful. The underside was perfectly cooked, although the dough had a slightly dry texture and a touch too much flour remaining, but overall, I was satisfied. This quality slice of pizza was also very reasonably priced.”
