“All in all terrific experience at Mamaioa. The staff were extremely friendly and really polite. The food was amazing, compliments from the whole family, we all had different meals. The one that stuck with me personally was the truffel pasta, it was amazing! Also a couple of favorites were the seafood soup and the ravioli. We would definitely visit again next time we are in Lecco. Amazing!”

“We stayed in the cottage at the complex so this restaurant was a big convenience for us. The staff spoke English and was super friendly. The views of Lake Como are amazing, whether you're seated inside or on the terrace. Dogs are allowed as well, which is always a plus since we almost always travel with our dog. We decided to order the food to go, to enjoy it on our private terrace in our cottage. The menu seems to be seasonal and frequently changes; on our visit, we ordered the ravioli and zucchini soup as starters, and grilled sausage and Veal stew. The veal meat and the sausage was good. It came with polenta but I don't care much for polenta so we substituted it with grilled vegetables and it was fine. The stand out choices were our two desserts and the latte. We had the chocolate mousse with berry sauce which was absolutely perfect. The apple strudel was extremely fresh and just like grandmother would make it. Overall, I think a visit here would be worth a drive from Bellano or if you're staying in the complex, do yourself a favor and walk over and try it.”

“Beautiful and cozy place, with Christmas decorations it looks even better. Polite and attentive staff. We took mushroom pie, pasta with tuna, pasta with seafood and tiramisu. Everything was delicious! The dessert was big, too big for one person. The place is pricy but not more than we expected. We paid 87€ for 2. Dog friendly!”

“Cute restaurant in Brianza, nice environment with a bar in center of the place and tables around it, big choice of wines and beer, but also cocktails. Food is excellent, well known for their delicious burgers but also offers beef stakes and other dishes (antipasti, primi, secondi). Fridays there is live music. Also a huge parking in front of the restaurant.”

“Loved to see how the owner explained the dishes w passion to the other table. heard that the flour for the cacio e pepe was organic. but our server just introduced the dishes by what they are: the risotto, which was delicious, the polenta, which was a little dry. will have to return and maybe we get more lucky:) lovely atmosphere w the paintings. even the priest of the village has lunch here :) Bathroom has amazing design:) Big wine list w some organic and fair trade options. Gotta love it!”

“What an amazing place . Celebrated my sons confirmation yesterday at this beautiful venue . As it was an event organised last minute, being we are from Australia , Alessandra was very helpful. She was amazing , not only on the day , but even prior to the event. Food was amazing , service was super helpful and polite . Thank you very much . We enjoyed the venue inside and out. The outdoor area is a gem. All our guests loved the restaurant and the service. We will be back for sure . Thank you very very much . What a great memory we will take with us .”

“We had the blessing - helped by well deserved stellar reviews - to find this place on our last night in Lecco. Food was the best we had in 2 weeks in Italy (I'm Italian but living abroad for many years). The place is astonishing beautiful, great and kind service, very patient with our 3yo overly excited after a day by boat. But food (and beer) is the protagonists here. Simply delicious. BONUS: It is fairly priced! If we will be back in the area we will visit again for sure!”
