Would highly recommend the fish with chick pea and the baccala with vegetables , both antipasti then the black pici with clams, mussels as a primi piatto, and definitely try the lime sorbet with thyme. “Excellent fresh fish! Excellent service for such a large place (more than 100 people outside) and tables inside. We made an rsvp, arrived abit early, and soon after the place was full w Italians, especially families. Anti-pasti and frittura are amazing. Get the "frittura pescato del giorno" to see what they caught today. Nice local wines. Only negative: it is located in an industrial zone, between the train tracks and the state highway. Yet, not noisy and lots of greenery to block the view. Also, large parking lot! We were in a camper, so parking was easy. Will return when in area again.”

The wonderful staff accommodated us without a booking and the pizza, tortellini, wine and desert were fabulous.”

“We were recommended this place for lunch, couldn’t have been made more welcome. Matteo & his team recommended some plates of pasta & we drank their own wine which was excellent paired with the dishes, including the wild boar ragu . Matteo speaks excellent English after living there for many years.”

“Excellent food. Fresh, well done, clearly a reason for which to choose the place. A bit expensive and one dish will not be enough for an adult. Unfortunately, we had to ask for bread and oil (which, in Toscana is a first) and the service was limited to the minimum necessary. Kids' food arrived last... Lovely atmosphere outside but we were in and there is nothing special, except for the caves under the buildings, where we went out of curiosity and kids played with the shadows... Very nice.”

“Didn't had a Reservation on a Saturday night (which we learned is a beginners mistake in Italy), 4 restaurants in Magliano weren't able to provide a table for two, but Orto 219 made it possible and we were very lucky we stranded there! Super quality of the dishes, very polite staff, reasonable pricing and mega ambiente. We will probably visit again!”

“A classy seafood and fish place, running since 1977, somethings still have the atmosphere of 80 or 90ties. Food was excellent, so was the service. Would adjust to special wishes and come up with alternatives. Some dishes off the beaten track. Came here the second year in a row and will come back again! Highly recommended!”

“I have no idea why this place has such good reviews. Maybe because of the friendly staff (they are) and the pretty cheap prices, but the pizza's we had were pretty bad. They were flooded with an oily substance in the middle, which made them very soggy. I left most of the middle part, which I never do. The review would have been three stars but afterwards my wife felt pretty sick so I went with two.”

“That’s where I had my first beer after a full day diving! Nice pier bar to unwind after your dive or enjoy some drinks during the day! The owner is fun and friendly guy, ended up at his bar the second day and we had some nice amaro on the house! Don’t expect free shots, randomly you need to earn them!”
