South Philly Hoagies

Closed until 10:00 AM

3108 Parkview Ln, Harrisburg, PA 17111, United States

“If I could give this place 0 stars I would, they gave us stale, hard bread and burnt onion rings that tasted burnt and like oil and when I called to say something the guy answering the phone which was most likely Jason B, he placed me on a silent hold mid sentence. Waste of time and money. Should’ve went to the sandwich man instead, but decided to try something different and give this place a try.”

“There for a special birthday, seated by front door, and were comfortable even on a cold night. Would like to return and try the upstairs seating. Atmosphere was modern and relaxing. Christian was an excellent server and made sure we were well cared for. Food and flavors were amazing! Brussel sprouts were good - the sour with the Sherry Vinegar, paired nicely with the pancetta, could have used something to draw the salt, sour and bitter together (pecorino or goat cheese, and little black pepper maybe). Artichoke ravioli was excellent! The flavor was fresh, light, and enjoyable all the way through. Wnlanted to scrape the sauce up and eat every drop. Portion was peefect. Papparadelle posta was excellent and filling. Spice was warm and nice, not hot. Salmon was delicious, vegetable were roasted well, also filling. Gnocchi dish was delicious, and blend of flavors enjoyable. Our non-tomato eater, ate the tomatoes and liked it. Spaghetti Squash and Meatballs small plates were very good. Tiramasu and Custard desserts were delicious flavors as well - balanced and just the right level of sweetness. Highly recommend for a special night out. It is high-end, so expect to pay a bit more per person.”

“Place has an awesome atmosphere. Bar is classic with a good many beers on tap. I got wings and they warned me they were small; and they were small. Fine quantity wise for me but smaller wings can be dry quick. Wife didn't love the crab cakes (dry). My cousin says they have the best boneless in the area tho. There are so many things on the menu that we'll try again in the future. Service was great.”

“This place is centrally located in the midtown District of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Rumor has it this place gets very busy, but I went in the early afternoon and it was very slow thankfully. The service was really fast obviously and there were only two workers and they had the food out very quickly. I’m giving it four stars based on the flavor profile of the food. I got a cheese steak, and he accidentally put marinara sauce on it, which was fine - but the break was completely soggy due to the amount on it. The fries were not very crispy and the garlic knots were even a bit cold. The pizza was fantastic! You can order by the slice, and they basically heat it back up in a stone oven which makes it crispy. I enjoyed that the best. The bathroom toilet did not have a seat on top. Although the place was very clean, I was just a little upset with the food. I had ordered, but still giving four stars, because the place and workers were very nice.”

Fire & Grain At Hershey Lodge

“$28 for spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were cold and i had to ask for extra sauce. I can’t get past that in a place with zero ambiance. 4 different types of chairs, 3 different styles of lighting and minimal wall decor. Pleasant service but the prices take advantage of a captive audience. I do like the faux door dividers.”

Cd Pizza And House Of Brews

“I rarely leave reviews for places, so take this review with a grain of salt. But if you’re looking for pizza that’s different than your typical “neighborhood pizza joint” I recommend you come to CD Pizza and order their Detroit Pan Pizza, you will not be disappointed. I haven’t stopped thinking about that pizza since I originally ordered it.”

Right Pizza

724 Colonial Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112, United States

“Right Pizza. Nice place. The young man on the register was friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. The fountain drink machine reads one refill. Sodas are $1.50. They also have bottles. The lay out is very nice and roomy. The food was good. Typical mom and pop pizza joint fare. The bread was great. My girlfriend got the cheese steak with lettuce tomato onion. I got the pizza which was good. Again, I particularly liked the bread which was a cut above what I expected.”

Tonino's Pizza

5106 Jonestown Rd, Harrisburg, PA 17112, United States

“Easily one of the top five pepperoni slices I’ve ever had in my life! Fuh get about it! Crust was chewy but crispy! Cheese was melty, magic, magnificent! Sauce, I’m gonna be dreaming about the sauce. The two guys working were super friendly and they looked happy to be there. The place is a little messy but it’s a pizza place so get over it. I know I said the pep was top 5, but it’s actually top 3, and it’s not 3.”
