“Not a mediocre 3 but short of 4. I really enjoyed the old decor and ambience. The service was impeccable and friendly, but I really expected more from the food. Nothing really impressed me and that’s not even considering the price. The Turbot was a little hard, the squab was quite unbalanced and the Turnedo didn’t have truffles and just a small piece of Foie. The best: the Flan!”

“I seated at the bar and was amazingly served by Arnau, which gave excellent recommendations from the menu. Had a great vermouth to pair the tasting. The salmorejo was excellent, but the surf & turf dish (pork foot with shrimp) was superb. The dessert really surprised me - pumpkin presented in many textures, very flavorful. Definitely recommend it.”

“The food was quite tasty but very expensive for the small portion. I expected more from a 17 euro dish. It seems like they are positioning themselves as an elite high end restaurant but while the food is good, it’s not great. After spending 50 euro there, we had to go to a local sandwich place to finish eating a proper dinner. My advice, eat before having dinner here and close your eyes when paying the bill.”

“It was one of the best pizzas I have had. So if you do take away this might be it.10/10 for the food. When it comes to the service, you will feel like you are in the way and almost ashamed of distrubing the staff. The waiter we had prompted us to change the table to the neighbouring one. Otherwise, he would refuse service. The tables were same size... so why not just move the chairs?! 🤦 the "4 person" table was empty the whole time of our stay. We told the manager about the service, and first, he did say he did not have bad service, but somehow, the message was received, we believe, and hope. And for this reason, it will get 2 stars instead of one. We had several other guests telling us the same thing, and just a shame that they did not tell this to the management. So go here if you really want a good pizza but don't care about the arrogant and bad service.”

“Very good food, beef cheek, steak tartar is perfect, unique. Service is boring, has no style, waiters don’t speak English. The maitre d’ was the best, the rest is not up to the quality of the place. The design of the restaurant is not classic not modern, simply outdated. At the beginning we got a slice of bread with nothing. I recognised later the next table got oil and butter as well…. When we left the waiter was running to help someone with his coat, he pushed me aside…. Maybe a more important guest? Just some small examples of how they care…. And it is the most expensive restaurant in town…. So needs improvement, it may work in high season, but this should be the time for making loyal customers….”

“My room was clean. It's really spacious, but the basin in toilet is unnecessarily large. There was no paper tissue, toilet brush, and no complementary lotion. The water pressure in the shower is also very low. The breakfast is not buffee which is odd and you should choose from three full breakfast options or start ordering items one by one. The breakfast is also from 7 which could be quite late depending on when you need to be somewhere after that.”

“The gym is ok, but Espai Wellness 2 months after I went to them just charged me for 2 month’s subscription without my permission and nobody is willing to help me with it. I was going to the gym in August, I wasn’t using that credit card for some time. And now I checked it, and I see, that in November and December Espai Wellness charges me without my permission. I was afraid of a situation like this and when I was signing up I specifically told that I don’t need any subscriptions or anything, I needed access to the gym just for 1 month that’s why I refused to give my account details. But they just used the card that I paid with.. And now they are not answering my messages. Upd after the reply: First of all you returned just a half of the money and it’s almost January. As I told you in Instagram I am not in Spain anymore that’s why you cannot reach me and I asked for an email that I couldn’t find on your website or Google Maps, you didn’t give me one. Again I want to clarify that I did not agree on any subscriptions and specifically told so. If I send you “unsubscribe letter” to the email you didn’t give me, then you could tell me “we’ve received your letter just this month, why do we have to return your money for the months when you were subscribed ?””

“I dined by myself during a sunny lunch here and had a great experience! I had the set menu: mussels with marinara sauce for entree, oxtail for main and puff pastry with caramelised(?) apples, whipped cream and chocolate sauce for dessert. All three dishes were so delicious! Oxtail was cooked till tender and the potatoes and sauce that went with it, paired wonderfully with it. The portions for mussels were absolutely huge and I was so full after just eating that. Even though I was solo diner, the service was really good and I was well looked after! I originally wanted to try the paella here but they only serve it with a minimum of 2 portions and that would be too much for myself- but heard lots of good things about the rice/paella here.”
