The restaurant's menu is a delightful celebration of Veronese cuisine, showcasing the authentic flavors and traditions of the region. Every dish is a masterpiece, crafted with love and expertise. It's evident that each recipe is carefully curated to bring out the best of the locally sourced, fresh ingredients. The flavors danced on our tongues, perfectly complemented by a fine glass of regional wine from the Valpolicella region, thoughtfully recommended by the attentive and knowledgeable staff. The homemade pasta dishes were nothing short of extraordinary. The signature Risotto all'Amarone was an absolute revelation, its rich, velvety texture and decadent notes of Amarone wine taking us on a journey to Valpolicella’s vineyards. The duck ragu was delicate yet hearty, delivering an explosion of flavors that could only come from a seasoned chef who knows his craft. What truly set this restaurant apart was the personalized attention from the owner himself. He graciously took the time to visit our table. His warmth and genuine enthusiasm made us feel like we were dining in the company of a dear friend. In addition to the exquisite food, the staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that each guest's needs were met with genuine care. „Osteria Numero Uno“ is more than just a restaurant. “This place was right off the beaten path and such a wonderful experience. The owner takes pride in everything, from cooking, to serving, and even the place settings. I even saw him training a new server on how to fold tablecloths and present dishes. He was so enthusiastic about his food and visited every table to explain the dishes they were eating. His passion comes through in the flavors. His unique preparation and spin off of traditional dishes was a real pleasant surprise. Everything we got was delicious, and the service was so welcoming.”

“100% would recommend this place! Amazing food - pure italian vibe :) we had 2 most amazing dinners here, great local pastas, delicious rare grilled beef and even stomach (trippe) was so good! And the tiramisu was like heaven. The service was great, especially the lady from Czech Republic - she was so nice and we were very happy with her hospitality! And all crew was so nice to us even we didn’t speak much Italian. This experience was incredible and I hope we will have a chance to come back here someday :) Additionally - the prices were very reasonable too!”
