“Yes it's real New York style slice just in case you were wondering. Can't complain about this pie. Atmosphere awesome and they serve beer. What else can you ask for? Slices not to expensive but salads could use a plastic ware upgrade but then again who's eating sald😆 Can't go wrong with a slice of GOAT!”

“This establishment has been around for a long time and I haven’t been here for years but happened to be in the area during lunch time. Ordered the Capellini Pomodoro with Shrimp and the Caprese Salad. Always eat the bread with garlic whipped butter. It’s warm, crunchy and the butter is all guilt and all good. I’m not sure how authentic the pasta is but it’s delicious, especially with a spoonful of crushed red peppers (don’t judge me). It’s simple and refreshing and my pasta was thin but still al dente. Feels homely. The Caprese Salad is simple but exactly what I expected. It’s kind of hard to go wrong with a slice of mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, a drizzle of olive oil and some roasted garlic. Presentation could’ve been a little better but I’ll let you judge from the pictures. The only dings come from the dated atmosphere that’s in need of a makeover and the slow service. I wasn’t the only one sitting around waiting for some help. I think if the restaurant was to iron out a few kinks, it can become a destination but maybe the locals like it this way. I don’t know. I didn’t order the sausage bread this time around but I highly recommend it.”

“Italico restaurante is the more upscale sister restaurant of Terún. It is get crowded very fast and the service is prompt. The pizza that we ordered were deceivingly simple but delicious. I strongly recommend ordering Casio E Pepe to share. The Pollo Millanese was cooked just right (crunchy outside and soft inside). Furthermore, it has great selection of wine to choose, we ordered Bocca Della Verita Primitivo which was very good. We ended our dinner with chocolate gelato, strawberry Panna Cotta and espresso from cafe Vergnano brand. Overall I enjoyed the total experience.”

“Yummy pizza! Picked up a friend from the airport and on the way back she wanted to stop here. Never knew this place existed off of highway 17 in Los Gatos Redwood Estates area. Cute little spot to come to. They have lots of food and drinks to choose from. Great atmosphere, games and fun things to do in the back patio area. Definitely check this place out next time you are in the area. It’s hidden - but worth finding.”

“One of the best restaurants I have EVER been to. I try my hardest to come here when I am in town. I have eaten here a few times per year and every single time it has been amazing. The staff is absolutely amazing. The owner Donna is usually there and I was a little shocked how the last few times she said hi to my family and knew who we were. So it does get busy and it’s a small place. I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation. Weston is hands down the best waiter I have ever had. If at all possible ask for him. Both cooks make incredible food. I always get the pasta primavera, but anything on the menu will blow your mind! Please eat here if you are ANYWHERE near here. I know live in another state and have dreams about the food here and whenever I am in town I try to eat here. This month, December of 2023 I ate here twice while visiting family for the holidays and both times were perfect. They make their pasta from scratch daily, they respect and work with people who have food allergies or sensitives. Two of my family don’t eat gluten and their gluten free pasta is not only the best around, but they will boil it separately and they have gluten free crackers for the appetizers. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Even if you are gluten free. It’s amazing.”

“I really enjoyed my first visit here, the team were very friendly. Plenty of seating and I grabbed a spot at the bar so as not to take up a table. Plenty of pizza options but not too many to make the decision harder. There was a wide range of craft beer on tap and if you're into the hard liquor a lot of bottles lined the wall. Soda in the fridge and a free flowing water tap and glasses. The pizza I ordered tasted delicious and the crispness of the base and dough was exactly how I prefer it. I'll definitely be returning the next time I'm in the San Jose area.”

“Best New York style pizza in the South Bay! We have been enjoying their pizza since 2003! Our favorites are the pepperoni pizza and pepperoni and sausage calzone. Their sauce and dough is so delicious can’t get enough! Friendly family owned pizzeria. I only eat their pizza out here!”

“The food was amazing!! We had spaghetti carbonara, the server noticed that we were going to share our food, so they asked to confirm if we wanted to share, and it came with two plates of pasta! (very considerate!) The margherita pizza was delicious besides it’s not thin crust.. but still good! Tips: if you order sandwiches or something with bread, you won’t get a plate of the house bread unless you ask for it! (they were delicious!!!)🤤”

“Amazing night with great food and service. I found Cafe La Scala from open table review. The location is not in the Main Street of Los Altos. I’m surprised that I didn’t notice through these years. But the food is delicious! I have the seafood angels hair. The waiter gave us some spice from his garden which is absolutely delicious! My friend was so happy when they brought in the cake to celebrate her birthday. Definitely a hidden gem in Los Altos. Highly recommended.”

“Much better experience than the first time my husband and I visited. We ordered the same things we had the first time and the chicken on my salad and my husband’s burger patty were much fresher and didn’t taste spongy and frozen like before.
