“Found this place from looking at nearby restaurants by our hotel on google maps and it did not disappoint. The staff were so lovely and were happy for us to wait to the side and offered us the drinks menu whilst waiting on a table to come free. We went all in on the top three pasta dishes and every dish was delicious. Service was great for a busy Sunday evening. Definitely worth the wait and a visit! For three pasta dishes, two glasses of wine and two Aperol spritz we were €80 - great value for money!”

It was more pasta with truffle oil with a few truffle flakes on top. It was also the first place we ate in Italy that pointed out that the service fee / tip wasn’t really included. “The food in Le Volte was amazing. We ordered the famous Florentine steak and it did not disappoint. But as the reviews said, the steak was more on the lean side of meat, so it's better to have it cooked rare or medium rare. They also give you a hot plate in case you prefer to cook the steak a bit more after it is served. The staff were also very friendly. We ordered only a glass of wine but one of the staff kindly gave us the bit of the remaining wine in the bottle. Everything was good. My advise is to really have a reservation because the restaurant gets full, even on weekdays.”

“We stopped here for a quick break during a long road trip. There are plenty of menus for 2 people, but you can also take it for odd number of people. The quality of the starters is outstanding, mixed fries and a mix of salami and cheese, so tasty. afterward, we choose the Steak, what a deliciousness. we were 2 and came out absolutely full and satisfied sharing this Steak Menu. we spent about 84 euros for the menu, water, 2 glasses of wine, coffees, sorbetto and service.”

I went with a group of 5 and everything we had was a 10/10. So happy we found this place !!!!”

“"Waaaw", that's all I could say after finishing our meal. I think I've said it around 4 or 5 times and started to contemplate life. Never knew food could do that to you. We arrived and saw no more tables available outside. The staff was really helpful and moved the table outside. Once seated we began an experience that blew us away. This was hands down THE best food I've EVER eaten. Everything was masterfully prepared. Don't expect gells of this and espuma of that. No, this place brings honest, home cooked, real food. You can taste the recipes have stood their mark through time. They don't have a fancy look to them, but who cares about that if the tastes are hitting all the right notes PERFECTLY? The dishes have brought me into a state I've never experienced before during a meal. To conclude a perfect dinner, we were offered a complimentary limoncello. The staff are truly proud and genuinely friendly. We drove almost an hour to get there but will do so again without a doubt. Thank you to the whole team for a truly moving experience.”

“This place was the best restaurant I ate at in Italy. I did not have a reservation and they had no open ones, but when they realized I was alone, they setup a small little table for me. The manager or owner was so tentative during my meal bringing me a must try free dessert of chocolate cake at the end. They made an exception to give me the veal meatballs half portion for an appetizer and I had the special Buca Lapi pasta for dinner. THE BEST! I also left my credit card on the table and went back the next evening, they remembered me and said they tried to catch up with me outside when I left, but couldn't find me. Honest employees and so grateful I was able to get it back.”

“I found this restaurant online while searching for wine window options in Florence. I came in pretty late on my first night there and the wine window had just closed. It was okay because I decided to dine in for dinner. I ordered shrimp pasta , Aperol Spritz and cheese cake which was amazing. Everything was delicious and well flavored. The cost of my meal was pretty affordable and under 30€. The restaurant has a nice vibe, the servers were friendly and there were plenty of seats available as a solo walk in. I felt comfortable although I dined alone. I hope to come back for the wine window experience and more pasta when in Florence again.”

“We really wanted to like Enoteca Pinchiorri, but we felt it fell short especially being a 3 Michelin star restaurant. Here's what we did like about it: 1) They were able to accommodate us when I had the reservation date wrong. 2) Service was good and they're quick to cater to you Here's where we thought it went wrong: 1) Water has its own menu starting at 10 euros per bottle 2) We were only impressed by the first couple and the last couple times on the tasting menu (the rest were not bad just not a wow factor) 3) Money spent and value received was severely imbalanced. It's nice to cross it off the list. We were definitely expecting more out of our first Michelin 3 stars,but things don't always work out.”
