We took a chance and asked if we could have a table which they were very obliging. The food I could not fault, delicious and the service was excellent. There was a queue outside as we left which shows its very popular with the locals.”

“Delicious food and wine, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff! During my stay in Sicily this restaurant was my favourite. I tried the most delicious spinach and ricotta ravioli ever, in pistachio creamy sauce. The staff welcome you on your arrival with some champagne and appetisers. The owner was very welcoming and helpful in making a choice with our food and wine. Highly recommend you this restaurant if you like high quality food, excellent service and welcoming atmosphere!”

“I used to go when I was child and came back here after 25 years! I always struggle to find a good pizza in Palermo and this place offers one of the best pizzas around! Good dough good ingredients. The place has a rustic informal look, staff is friendly. We visited in a Monday evening and the place was quiet but not empty. Pizzas arrived soon but desserts took a while. We had 3 children under 4 and there was enough space for them to walk (Monday evening). Highly recommended!”

“Lovely food and service in the beautoful atmospheric courtyard. It was great to have the option of a vegetarian set menu, and to be able to be able to order one vegetarian menu and one meat/fish menu (other places only allowed the same menu for everyone). The food was beautifully presented and tasted just as good, and we loved the little extras before the meal, and before and after dessert. Definitely recommended.”

“I had lamb there, it was great, with a nice fast layer, they offer very good gluten free bread and appetizers. The staff is nice, location is good at the small quiet piazza next to a church. I sat outside as the tables inside were already reserved for other guests. Most people sit outside, they have infrared heaters in winter.”

“The hotel is right in front of a train rail - it does go by often, not super loud. I had an issue with my room’s windows the shower and toilet window were only halfway privacy frosted - I could hear and see heads of people passing by. I didn’t feel comfortable with that. The staff at the Reef Club & restaurants were all nice. I think the front desk people need a bit more comfort - when I arrived, I had asked 2x for a quick tour of the property - I was told twice ‘no’. The sea deck has comfortable loungers and the water was great! The Calette sand beach (10 min. drive) was okay - I think you’d rather enjoy your time at the hotel’s seafront deck instead. There wasn’t much food options for breakfast lunch or dinner / I think they can work on that. I would rate this hotel between 4 - 4.2 stars.”

“The entire B&B was beautiful - what a fantastic design. We stayed in the Ceramic themed room which had a gorgeous large Italian ceramic ceiling tile light and a large inset tile on the floor as well as bedside lights in the familiar ceramic head designs. The breakfast was amazing - quite a bit of variety and they were kind of enough to open it half an hour early so we could make our flight. Super friendly team.”

“Best seafood we had in Sicily by far! No menu. Just the fresh catch prepared beautifully. Mussels in tomato broth a d sauce, mixed seafood lightly battered and fried. Grilled octopus and prawns and a beautiful swordfish and shrimp fettucini. They spoke enough english to get by but were very lovely, honest and humble. Price was great for the food and service. Absolutely not in a tourist part of town but totally worth it! €200 Euro for 6 people including plenty of beers and grillo white wine”

“We were 6 People and 3 of us didn't eat, just had 3 beers. Coperto however was for 6 people - 15E. When asked they said it's for glases and the suport on the table. Also, when the first person wanted to order the cocktail gamberi salad, the waiter said the dish is for 2 people. So we ordered one(because two of us wanted it) and at the end we were charged 2 portions-32E. When confronted, the english speaking waiter who took the order started speaking italian, forgot english all of a sudden. I felt scamed and taken for a fool and can't recommend it”

“Absolutely beautiful food, and a more lovely waitress. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and were bid farewell with a shot of complimentary limoncello. The food was delicious, and was prepared in serving sizes that were perfect. Was an absolutely lovely experience, and has been one of our most memorable experiences when in Italy.”
