“I been here a few times and first time having bad service. The food is always amazing, but the service is such hit or miss. The food is delicious. Appetizers of lamb lollipops, escargot, burrata salad, and sashimi tuna were all amazing. Lamb was juicy. There were way more escargot than other restaurants I've had it. The burrata salad is classic. And the sashimi tuna was surprisingly good. Entrees had a NY strip with roasted potatoes and broccoli. I like how the veggies are overcooked. The steak was cooked to perfection and a beautiful hefty size for the price. Great value. However... service was awful. Got seated and took 15 mins to get menu. I already knew what to order but the waitress didn't ask and walked off after giving menus. Never came once during meal. Came after meal was over and provided check. Took 15 mins to come back and get our card. It was all fine up until now. It was holidays so we were understanding. BUT after our credit card was taken, it took 30 mins for us to get it back. Another lady brought it back to us and said our waitress got caught up at the bar. We said we've been waiting and ready to leave for over half an hour already. Finally we're leaving..... then the original waitress stopped my bf and I, which then she made a comment sarcastically saying she's sorry but she had other tables she's in charge of and we're not the only people dining. Seriously 🙄 it was so unnecessary. Her stopping us to not even apologize but make a stupid comment was what made the service bad.”

“Exceptional dining experience! Cafe Fiore hit on every metric: the service, prices, portions, atmosphere and the food were incredibly good. My gf had the lasagna and I had the eggplant fiore. We also ordered the fried calamari. And oh…those complimentary garlic knots were fantastic! As a foodie, I left nearly speechless! We will definitely be back! 10/10!”

Salad had large onion rings and lots of black olives - not listed on the menu (yes, I'm being nit picky, but since I don't like either on my salads, it would have been nice to know to ask to have them held back for my order). Cajun scallops were delicious. Rice pilaf was pretty basic... and yet good enough that I cleaned my plate. Wine was crisp and cold. Service was phenomenal, with an atmosphere to match.”

“This is a holiday treat for a Rhode Island girl. Lobster Chipotle Sub, large, is like 4 pieces of lobster topped toast when eaten open face. Jalapeño cheddar bread went fantastic with the Chipotle sauce toasted. I ditched the lettuce, tomato, and cheese, because I like cooked onions and raw green peppers for taste* Will be traveling back in town soon to try this again, but with raw onion this time. So SOO good. I ate around 4pm and I was full all night. Went to bed early and woke up feeling great. The high quality seafood is much appreciated. Was a very nice surprise. I believe this is the last Quiznos standing in CT, and it sure is a gem. Thank you 😊 💓”

“Olea is my favorite restaurant in CT hands down. My family and I have been coming here for years and for good reason! The staff is impeccable, polite and very informative. Your table is always left clean! The food is by far best you can get in the state in my opinion. The quality is Michelin star and perfect quantity of food as well. Every dish has flavors of all angles. The chefs at Olea are top notch! The atmosphere is chic and elegant and there is plenty of room so you don’t ever feel over crowded. “Drove from NYC for their pizza after watching the OneBite video. Glad I made the drive as the pizza was delicious! Very charred, not oily or greasy, delicious blend of cheese & thin- exactly what you'd expect from CT pizza. It reminded me a little of Modern. I know a worker there used to work at Modern so maybe he's got the secret touch 😉. We got two pies & both were perfect. I give Olde World an 8.4”

“Honestly don’t see the hype with this place. Went here a few nights after Christmas with family. We were told by so many people that this is the best in town and in my opinion it was just eh. Felt like we waited forever for the food. Bread was crumbly and fell apart. Calamari was good. When we finally got our dinner the chicken parm was good. One of us got filet mignon bordelaise- asked for it medium rare and it got it well done. The place was clean and nicely decorated. Street parking and parking lot in the back.”

“First and last time ordering from here. I ordered a small “meat lovers” pizza, with sausage, bacon, and pepperoni. They failed to mention all the meat toppings were Turkey based. I have never in all my decades of life, had Turkey bacon, Turkey sausage, Turkey meatball pizza. And I never want it again. The taste and texture was soft and dry, and flavorless. The meat toppings were just thrown on top of the cheese, not baked together. The Laziest, nastiest pizza I ever had. 40$ bucks down the drain.”
