“Hands down …one of the most eclectic and unique restaurants that I’ve experienced to date! The atmosphere was so fun, and just so full of life ..that I didn’t want to give up our table! 🎶🎵The food was amazing, the service was great.. especially in consideration of how busy it was. Having guests sign the book that their check arrives in was such a cool touch ! Jack Rose🌹.. you have an old soul’s vibe about you..Thank you for the experience 🖤 🎷🎶 📸Lisa S. Holley Photography”

611 Frenchmen St, New Orleans, LA 70117, United States

“It's been years since I dined here. My first time here was on a date in 2000. The food was phenomenal. Paired with the eclectic vibe and feeling like we stepped into a Spaniards living room, local art adorned the walls with low lighting and bustling chatter. There wasn't another table empty. I would return here on every one of my frequent trips and become friends with Adolfo himself. He was a great conversationalist and had amazing world views. I found out a few days ago that he is no longer with us. Although I was starving when I walked in, my sadness with this news affected my appetite. I got the same thing I had when I first came here. The seafood sauce over sole with salad. Skipped drink. Great service and lively vibe. This place is a hidden gem. You can feel comfortable and relax with your meal. Great location on Frenchmen also.”

“We started with the boudin bites and the Jucifier IPA, both were amazing, and for the entrée we had the boiled shrimp, crabs, sausage, corn, and potatoes. The boiled seafood was traditional Louisiana style and very tasty. Spice level was 👌 We were a bit confused as to why none of the crabs had their claws, as they are the best part of the crab. The shrimp were huge and did not disappoint. Overall, everything was well made. Loved the atmosphere of the place. I wouldn't suggest sitting outside when the mosquitoes are in season - which in my experience is year round. Nasty little boogers.”

Dimartino's Famous New Orleans Muffulettas

“Another Five Star Review for pleasant atmosphere, great food, and service! Thank you. Di Martino's is locally & family, multi-generationally, owned, and are WestBank natives. The restaurant is open, clean, well-organized, and with a nice view. They offer great New Orleans style seafood as sandwiches, po-boys, and platters, Italian, and the very best muffulettas. I had & recommend the shrimp po-boy, my wife had & recommends the muffuletta, which she says is the best muffuletta in New Orleans, my son had the shrimp & oyster po-boy, and my grandson had a child's meal. The staff were clean & neat, well spoken, friendly, and professional. The manager came around to the tables to talk to the customers and ensure that everything was well. Thank you!”

Tavolino Pizza & Lounge

141 Delaronde St, New Orleans, LA 70114, United States

“From Lafayette and came for lunch/supper. We hadn’t really eaten all day so maybe that was some of the problem. We were waiting and stuff and perhaps we were too loud about our disappointment on the wait (it is made from scratch so I wasn’t too bothered but we got our pizza a little later then everyone else) and then the owner came and asked how everything was. That led to a loud conflict where attitude was given on both sides. Other than that, the pizza was pretty tasty and the cinnamon knot things were pretty good. The honey goat something sauce that can come with the knots was strong but not bad. It’s kind of like a unsweetened room temp cream cheese. Unfortunately, the bread was a little too hard for my braces and chewing into the bread bent my wire and my mouth really hurts. The pizza is thin crust btw. If not for the conflict, I’d say 4.5 stars. The waiter was really nice but a few mistakes were made. Someone at the table wanted pepperoni pizza and we were given cheese and once that was mentioned, nothing was done about it. And we asked for a substitution but it was not given. Not major mistakes.”

Fresco Cafe & Pizzeria

7625 Maple St, New Orleans, LA 70118, United States

“We were looking for a quick, cheap bite to eat with my two little kids. Usually with these perimeters, I resign myself to mediocre food (you get what you pay for, after all) but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. The food here is really delicious! I loved the spinach and artichoke dip especially. And the menu satisfied all of the very picky eaters in our group. My one word of warning? The portions are HUGE. We definitely over-ordered but we packed up the leftovers and it was delicious the next day.”

Nola Pizza Co.

“This is a decent pizza joint inside the NOLA Brewery where they do some magic to the water to make it match the characteristics of New York City water. So when you get your pizza here you can also enjoy all the benefits of the brewery as well so you can grab a beer and enjoy eating in the nice spaces the brewery provides to enjoy your meal and/or beer. This isn't my favorite pizza or my favorite beer in New Orleans but it is near where I live so that does count for convenience points. Overall you can certainly have some good times here along with enjoying some beer and pizza. My video review of NOLA Pizza Co. is here: youtu.be/iyLotnNE2xY”

Osteria Lupo

4609 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70115, United States

“One of our favorite new restaurants. We have had several great dinners here. All of the pastas are phenomenal. The lamb is definitely a highlight. The service was a little slow early on, but it has definitely gotten better and adjusted to the admittedly high expectations and buzz surrounding the opening. Drinks are phenomenal as well. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.”
