“Everything is perfect! It was a great Saturday’s night dinner when I seated in the patio to enjoy my Pinot Grigio bottle. I ordered the Linguini Pescatore dish, it came with with scallops, squids, shrimps, and clams. Besides that, it was a special meal order for the night which a juicy Chilean Sea Bass with vegetables. Also, a 100 scores for professionalism and friendly waiter Roberto.”

“My family and I had enjoyed this wonderful establishment’s delectable pizza 6+ years ago one night after a long day after a convention and we have never forgotten it since. Today we drove out 4 hours just to get another taste and it did not disappoint! It was just as wonderful as the first time we had it. Service was quick and friendly. “The food was really good, however quite pricey for the portions. For example, with the price they need more portions for sides the sides need to balance with the amount of meat that you get, besides the sides are the cheapest on the plate. I don't think the cornbread should be a side, it should complementary like when get dinner rolls or bread from the other restaurants. Because of the cost it will be awhile before we go back. Overall the meat was fabulous top notch. Also, it's very loud because of the acoustics and the tables are too small with all the plates and drinks I couldn't put my plate on the table all the way because there wasn't enough room!”

“I spend my money on a Uber eats order from this place for my Italian boyfriend, which I was trying to surprise with some good Italian desserts, but unfortunately we were both disappointed and the quality of the food was not even close to how a Italian restaurant should be. I order 2 cannolis which they were old, not fresh and the cream had a really weird taste. I also order a Tiramisu which came with a weird liquid inside. The tiramisu was a mess, not presentable at all and with a displeasuring taste… The way that you expect a tiramisu to taste was definitely not like that one. If I could, I will definitely give this place a “0” stars. Absolutely never ordering from here again and I will not recommend this place if you’re looking to taste some good dessert that can hopefully remind you at home (Italy).”

“Everything was very good and delicious. Our server, Jennifer, was super nice and attentive and the service was fast. Overall all the food tasted great and the fusion aspects all blended well together. Our favorites had to be the truffle cheese bread, the carbonara, and the poke pizza. The dough on the pizza was great texture too. We didn’t have a reservation for a party of 8 on the week of Christmas but we were lucky enough to get a walk-in for lunch and only had to wait 10-15 mins, but I’d recommend coming early, before 12 if you don’t have a reservation. I’d come back to the restaurant to try other dishes.”

“I had high expectations for Cafe Hiro after reading some rave reviews online, but I was let down by the food quality and presentation. The restaurant itself was cozy and welcoming, with dim lighting and soft music. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was fast. We ordered two dishes: uni pasta with spinach and chicken cutlet with curry sauce. We also got some drinks and bread to start with. The bread was warm and fresh, and the drinks were refreshing. I ordered the uni pasta was served in a small bowl, with the uni and spinach on top of the noodles. The chicken cutlet was placed on a large plate with rice on the side and the curry in a separate bowl. The taste was not much better. The uni pasta was bland and watery, and the spinach gave it a weird flavor that did not go well with the pasta. The chicken cutlet was tender and juicy, but the curry sauce was tasteless. It tasted like watered-down tomato sauce. The rice was dry and hard. I think Cafe Hiro needs to do a taste test review for their dishes once in a while for quality control. They also need to work on their food presentation.”

After the event we stayed for dinner and I highly recommend ordering the roasted brussel sprouts and the bacon wrapped dates for snacks. We ordered multiple pizzas, including the bone marrow pizza which was exquisite! My main course was the Scottish Salmon which was flavorful and fresh. We ended our dinner with a chocolate tiramisu and the tropical panna cotta. This is a great place to visit for a date and the view of South Coast Plaza is beautiful.”

I'm finally writing a review because we just had a party in their back room for 35 people. They have pre set menu options for groups which made it very easy to setup the pretty. And once again after having 2nd's of the baked ziti I was walking out thinking my God this is the best I've ever had.
