“Very tasty pasta with many crestive dishes! :) we were on dinner for 2x and ordered 3x of them, with the one serving as an appetizer - Total Costa = 90EUR (incl. 2x glasses of wine + 1x dessert) What we liked: pasta was perfectly cooked, sauce taste as well, creativity of dishes is a plus What can be improved: 1) portion of pasta shall be bigger given the prices (nevertheless the amount of sauce was good-enough :) ) and 2) lava cake is very small for its price and nothing special overall Overall: Would come back to try further pasta dishes - a bit overpriced therefore 4x stars”

“I can recommend the place! We’ve been here with group of 8 people, tried pizzas, pasta and steak. All was delicious, but what positively surprised me was their steak. It’s quite hard to find good steak in Amsterdam, especially for good price. And here I’ve finally managed to get one, well done:) (a joke, always go for a medium one:) Wine is mediocre, but at least not too expensive. What could be improved is waiting times, but overall service was good.”

We’ve got a table on the -1 floor in the tiny room just next to the open kitchen: not the best place to relax. Food was mainly mediocre. Steak was to chewy and fatty, soups (both vegetarian and crab) were watery, dessert was ok but presentation was bad. I only liked gnocchi, but they were not classic gnocchi (fried) No, I can’t recommend the place.”

“We were really looking forward to trying this place, as the menu looked good and the atmosphere was cool. It was a Monday night, pretty dead and the service from the server was not great, we rarely got checked on by her and we would have ordered more drinks if she had. We chose the 4 course chefs choice. The first two courses were really rich and could have been shared by two people - the buratta was covered in a really sweet jam and it was too much with the rich flavor of the buratta. The tartar was also very rich and could have been shared, the balance was off and the richness could have been offset with something else. Our main course was the most delicious, a perfectly tender and tasty pork. That made it more worth while. The desert was good, but I can’t remember what it was now… it fell a little flat for us. A bit disappointed for the reviews and being recommended by the Michelin guide.”

We enjoyed a three-course, prix fixe, meal (soup of the day, a pick of one of three entrees, and a dessert) for €29.50. I enjoyed the corn soup with coriander and sesame, duck with seasonal vegetables, and peach Melba for dessert. My husband and I liked it so much we returned within a week. The patio in the back is great for summer evenings. The wine list, although not extensive, is adequate for pairing - we ordered by the glass. The service was top-notch and they have Apple-pay.”

“The food was outstanding - light and richly flavourful at the same time, pizza prepared fresh in front of your eyes and the pasta left you craving more but the serving size was perfectly filling. The staff were not particularly warm or welcoming and forgot one of our dishes which I suppose is likely to happen when they don’t write down orders. If you can’t book online, maybe try calling as the restaurant appeared fully booked online for the whole evening and we could only get a spot at 5pm however the restaurant was half empty until we left at 7.30. A bit expensive but nice for a special occasion.”
