“Went on a Thursday night for wife's birthday. Waitress was very friendly with good humor. Food was delicious, loved the pizza. Crust wasn't too crunchy, was just how I like it. My wife got sauteed mushrooms and they came out perfect. Inside was nice with good atmosphere, don't judge place by outside. Though atmosphere did get knocked a point as somewhere the loudest screeching of a table could be heard, but luckily noise was short lived.”

“I enjoyed my dining experience at Grand Central (GC). The restaurant/ cafe has a very nice vibe: they offer indoor and outdoor seating, is extremely well decorated and clean, with a good number of tables to be able to serve a lot of customers at the same time. We visited GC for Brunch at about 10AM on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We were promptly greeted by the host upon entry and taken to our table. The server was great: she came promptly to take our food and drink orders and helped answer a few questions we had about the items on the menu. We ordered the following: Goat Cheese Salad: Best item of the day - fresh ingredients, good balance of flavors and well presented. Chilaquiles: Meh. Fresh ingredients, but underseasoned. Quinoa Skillet: More of a Spinach skillet as opposed to a Quinoa Skillet. Too much spinach made this dish super soggy. Palm Sugar Waffles: Excellent texture and flavor. Buttermilk Pancakes: Nice. Cafe Latte & Mocha: On point.”

“Customer service has gotten really bad over there. I placed my order and hour in advance and my order wasn't ready when I got there. The cashier was telling me the same thing every 15-20 minutes that my order will be ready within the hour of waiting. Also the pizza crust wasn't cooked properly they need a new oven. My pizza crust was wet and soggy and the salad was really bad. Also there is not enough space inside and very uncomfortable to get something to drink from the refrigerator's that are placed in the corner. I wouldn't recommend red maple pizza. I actually found another place that is 10× better. I don't like my time or money being wasted. I work all day long. i just want to get my food and go home. The parking lot is very small and to many vehicles to find a parking spot. FYI the cashier has over charged me a few times and also added additional items that I didn't even order. Always asked for your receipt.”

“Best restaurant in Palm Springs, hands down. Not only was their food outstanding but their service was wonderful too. We were in Palm Springs for a week and ate out for almost every meal so I can confidently say Johnny Costa’s was the best by far. I’m craving their pastas right now! Everything we had was incredibly delicious and fresh, especially the pastas. Everything had an equal balance, not too saucy or dry. If you can get a reservation, make it ASAP!”

“Great food and great setting. In El Paseo drive and walking distance to all the stores. Had the spinach and pear salad, good stuff but a bit over-dressed. The personal pizza was unique and just enough for two assuming you have an appetizer or salad. Next time I plan on just ordering some of the yummy looking appetizers. Wine list was solid. Pricy though, over $80 for salad and pizza and glass of wine.”

After sitting at the table took 14min to get a beer. Order applies which were fine. Ordered pizza which was still raw dough. Also included a dark black hair. Do not recommend.”

“Fantastic place to eat dinner. We were going to the place next door but they were closed and the two people inside gave us nasty looks when we tried to open the locked front door so we went to Aldente . We were greeted with big welcoming smiles. Seated immediately . The service went smoothly and we never had to ask for anything, the staff just magically showed up at the right times. The food was great and it also came out quickly and it was sooo good. Good place to visit the next time we visit the area.”

“We were last person to get the table and it was Monday night so there wasn’t ant waiting. The patio and the bar open to patio was really nice. We ordered fettuccine Alfredo and penne pesto both were good and the portions were huge! They bring you bread with olive oil and balsamic which was nice. Price was really good and reasonable 47 bucks for huge meal with no drink or anything else. Btw there is no bathroom in the restaurant.”

“Celebrated my parents anniversary. The staff was awesome. The service was great. They all wished them a happy anniversary. The steaks was done to perfection. Yes, I had to sample my parents entree 😂 The 40oz porterhouse my wife and I had (yes, served as dinner for two) melted in your mouth. The sides were sides, nothing spectacular, but were good.”

“We ordered Pizzas for delivery. On the phone, the lady just set the phone down after she took our card. A man picked up & finished the order after a bit of silence. It then took 2 hours to get here, but at least the pizza was warm. I wasn't going to make a review, but it's been like 2 days & my kid still smells like garlic from the garlic knots. The garlic knots were literally doused in diced garlic (the kind from the jar you get at the grocery store.) & oil.🥴 It wasn't bad after you scrapped the garlic off. We won't be ordering here again.”

“Just went to an event there and the service was the worst, and the older lady serving had the worst attitude ever. Then to go to the restroom you had to go way downstairs no handicap access unless you were using the elevator which they had to bring the key and wait for at least 20 minutes for someone to bring the key to open the elevator. I would not spend my money on hiring this place for any kind of event. Don’t even mention when it was time to bring the food out some didn’t even get to eat till almost everyone else was done. Kids included just very bad bad service. Was very disappointed. I felt so Bad for the people hosting the party.”
