“Tonight was my first time dining here, definitely won’t be the last. Amazing food and atmosphere, topped off with incredible service. Nick was our server and he was the best! Never made us feel rushed, helped me narrow down my choices (because I wanted everything), and timed out our courses perfectly. The cherry cheesecake…. Omg… spiritual! 🤣 I loved it so much I had to order a second piece to bring home. We ended the night chatting with Nick and he had nothing but great things to say about the owners and how great they are to work for which just added to it feeling like a special place. 10/10.”

“Looking for a cozy restaurant, this is the place. Depending on when you dine, quiet atmosphere where you can hear your dining partner over vintage music. (Unlike chain restaurants with blaring music). Food is very good. I had the eggplant parm. Warmed bread would have been nice, but it just arrived before seated.”

“Not only was our food delicious, but the cozy warm feeling in the restaurant was just the perfect setting. We opted for bar seats, which was a great choice for just 2 of us. It was like a happy family, we were chatting with 2 other couples before we knew it. Highly recommend. The bartender Rob was awesome.”

“For a Thursday evening they were definitely busy with that in mind they did not fail to provide great service & the atmosphere was amazing. We had appetizers, dinner & drinks. The Mango Tequila “Martini” is super good definitely a bit strong. Normally I am not a fan of burrata cheese but the Barrata appetizer was 5/5. The rack of lambs and Branzino were the best entrees at our table. The spicy gnocchi was not as spicy as we thought it’d be it had the smallest kick and Gamberoni ai Scampi was a bit bland. Regardless, I recommend this place 100% it’s not for the kids too much but definitely worth the night out. Our waiter was very sweet and gave us great recommendations, we will be back soon.”

“Great pasta dishes! The pasta with vodka sauce was good; the sauce was a bit too watery but the flavors were nice. The fettuccine alfredo was good, but had a weird aftertaste. I think the aftertaste comes from them using quality ingredients and not cheap ones, but it still tasted a bit strange. The only thing keeping this review from 5 stars was the service. To be honest, the service sucked. We had to ask for our water to be refilled each time and it took forever for us to get our check. It was also very expensive—about $24 per pasta dish. For just pasta, this is a little much... TLDR: Food was great, service was below average!”

“Delicious food!!! 10/10 I went with my husband and son and the food was so good! We were very impressed. My son got pasta with marinara sauce so much flavor, then we got the potato and shrimp dumplings I didn’t think it was going to be as good as it was and the sushi rolls was so fresh and delicious too. I can’t stop raving about this place I can’t wait to go back! Oh and you need to try the bread pudding !!! 🤤”

“If you're looking for a dining experience that combines lackluster service, mediocre food, and a dash of extreme arrogance, look no further than Semolina. Let's start with the service, which I can only describe as a steaming pile of garbage. It was as if the staff had collectively decided that customer satisfaction was an optional extra. Not to mention how rude everyone we encountered was. As for the food, "mediocre" would be an overstatement. The taste was forgettable at best, and downright disappointing at worst. However, what distinguishes Semolina from the myriad of culinary letdowns is its owner, who embodies arrogance and stands as a stain on the entire hospitality industry. Following our dining experience, he refused to honor a recently purchased $150 gift card, asserting it had already been used – an impossibility backed by our receipt and a clear paper trail. Rather than attempting to rectify the situation, the owner chose to compound the disrespect toward our party. Having paid our bill, the $150 gift card became an unfortunate loss at this juncture... Nothing short of fraud committed by the restaurant. Semolina is a prime example of how a dining experience can go horribly wrong. The trifecta of abysmal service, uninspiring cuisine, and a delusional owner create an atmosphere that is, at best, forgettable and, at worst, cringe-worthy. Save yourself the trouble and explore the countless other dining options that Red Bank has to offer.”

“Held a lunch with 30+ people here after my grandmother’s funeral. Impeccable service and beautiful atmosphere. The wine was excellent, and all staff were professional and hard working. We arrived more than an hour early, too, and the manager/staff were able to accommodate us with an early start, despite us being such a big group. Would come here again for any occasion!”

“This is by far the most amazing dining experience I’ve ever had in my life. From the decor, to the atmosphere, to the service. I honestly couldn’t get enough! The feel is equivalent to experiencing a home cooked meal as you see the meals being cooked right before your eyes. The atmosphere breathes transparency. You can even tell by how happily and harmoniously the entire staff works, there’s no stone left unturned. Upon entry, we were greeted by the hostess, Willow. Her hospitality and energy was simply amazing. We felt welcomed immediately. Upon sitting down, we notified the bartender of my shellfish allergy. Even though certain choices that we requested on the menu had some sort of shellfish in it, they were happy to make substitutes, and the food was equally delicious. We started with the duck croquettes. I had always been skeptical about duck, because I’ve never had a great experience. However, these croquettes made me do a full 180. They were melt in your mouth delicious I swear if I can give this 10 stars, I would. We then had the octopus, the Spanish meatballs and the braised chicken spaghetti. As I’m typing this, I can still taste everything…. that’s how memorable every. single dish was. Finally, we had the duck, and pork entrées. I will never look at duck the same after this experience. My partner deeply enjoyed his pork as well! If you made it this far in my review, run, don’t walk to Lita. This is the type of hospitality that has been missing from many restaurants nowadays. And in every single interaction from start to finish, they hit the nail on the head. You can tell from the close attention to detail down to even the menu selection that they have figured out the formula. I will certainly be dining here again.”
