“Overall a good experience but I don’t think I will be back or maybe just not for lunch. Fish and pork were outstanding just as wine pairings. However, dessert and some of the other courses were not especially impressive. I had a feeling of being rushed through the menu a little bit. Service was helpful and attentive yet it wasn’t clear to me why they gave us a table in the second room with no windows as only two tables in the front room were occupied and no one else showed up.”

“4.2/5 Amazing location, unfortunately at this time of the year (mid September) at 19:00 the vineyards were in the shadow already. Still beautiful. So a couple of things went wrong in the service, flat water into sparkling glass, not replaced, small wine spilling and then not cleaned from the table, dusty glasses after requesting a different set of glasses, but nothing major, just not perfect at all. The food all 4 of us agreed on, was 80/20. 80% fantastic, such as the bread, the olive oil, the first view dishes etc. The pigeon was a bit weird and the beef tataki was not as tender as hope for. Wine suggestion and selection was great.”

The food was okay but 6 euros for a salad with eggplant and potatoes in a bowl that small if ordered separately from the bento, it's absurb.”

“One of the few restaurants in Albi which are open on a Sunday and oh so pleasant😀😍 as lovely as the town of Albi is, so is this place ! They have a lovely variety of menu, including for vegetarians.. I tried their greek salad and vegetarian pizza and they were both good ! My friends took 3 different variety of non vegetarian dishes and they were all very happy with it! 😀 Very pleasant staff, neatly maintained and a feel good experience ! ♥️ Totally recommend it to visitors going to Albi !”

Unfortunately, the broth wasn't hot enough; it cooled down too quickly, which was disappointing. I just wish it had more authentic ramen flavours. :( On the upside, the Karaage was good—crispy enough. The atmosphere was pleasant and open giving off cozy vibes, with a collection of nice cookbooks on the shelf (which I flipped through while waiting for our food). The service was warm and friendly. Overall, I would say a mixed experience.”

“Just look at this egg in the Ramen. Hard boiled ??? Chasiu is just pork loin with no fat(taste) whatsoever, we should have a rolled fatty cut!. How does this place have 4.8? Cobwebs on lights should have been warning enough, there is no Japanese person involved in this establishment, they would be too embarrassed by this. This place is not Japanese. Cantonese music and speaking staff.”

The flavors and textures of the food are formidable, while you still can identify the ingredients. Very hospitable and professional service. The interior is simple but well balanced (I like it). “Yummy, super delicious. I have eaten Chuka and Jigoku, both very good, but I like Jigoku best. Jigoku is delicious and I highly recommend it. The staffs have a friendly attitude. I don't speak French, thankful they introduced ramen to me warmly in English. If you are a tourist, who can't speak French, don't worry, the staffs are very friendly”
