If you are interested in trying a unique flavour of soyu based ramen 🍜 with orange flavour then this is the place to come. The soup is well balanced in flavour and super delicious. The thin pork slice is perfectly matched with the light soup. I was not disappointed by trying something new. Arigato gozaimashita”

“I had the skirt steak set meal (1000 yen) for lunch. The meat was delicious, but the portion was small and I wasn't completely satisfied, so I felt that 1000 yen was too expensive. Also, the customer service was terrible, and the staff member asked me to pull back my chair and banged on the chair I was sitting on, which was very scary. So, I pulled the chair back, but after that, every time the store clerk passed by, the chair would bump into it, which made me feel very uncomfortable and sad. Coffee was served automatically after the meal, but it wasn't delicious so I couldn't drink it.”

“This was one of the better meals I've had on this trip. This is a traditional Japanese restaurant. Sis got the sushi set which she says was the best she has had. I got the miso oyster udon which was a seasonal dish. Oysters were fresh and the miso broth was very tasty. The server was very nice and explained to us the dish (although in Japanese which I don't understand). Nevertheless we felt welcomed and thought that it was a good quality meal and was well worth the visit. Wouldn't mind going back again next time I am in Hiroshima. Note that you have to take off your shoes before heading to the second floor.”

“You can make a reservation online and also pay via credit card. I recommend making a reservation ahead of the time (not same day) since they need to confirm your reservation request. Plan to arrive at least 10-15min early since everyone will start at the same time. They speak some English but not a ton (I think one of their part-time worker does, who wasn't here when I went). Food is amazing and fresh - sourced the day it's served. They also handpick the dinnerware and will explain about history/artists as well (some are 100+ years old!) Service is astonishing. I don't think I ever had this level of attention to detail and service anywhere else. They really make you feel welcome and taken care of. I highly recommend dining here if you are in the Hiroshima area.”

“When I entered the store, I was very pleasantly guided to my seat. I came here wanting to eat some hearty ramen, so I ordered the leek ramen. I'll have it for the first time! PayPay is also acceptable for payment. There are 4 counter seats and 2 tables for 4 people. My husband and I are close neighbors. Leek ball ramen. More delicious than expected! It's hearty, but the soup is light. Some people were asking for rice, and I'm sure the rice and soup go together really well! Let's both come again! We agree. Is delicious!”

“0/10 Impolite. While staying at Hiroshima we decided to go to this restaurant because of its good reviews. At lunchtime, when we asked if there was a table, they told us that the restaurant was closed, even though it was open according to Google. We tried again for dinner and the answer was that that day you could only have dinner having reserved and that was full (and it didn’t seemed for us)... so it became suspicious. As mentioned in previous reviews, it seems that they only accept locals (and it doesn't matter, but it's better if they say so from the first time and you save having to go there many times).”

The shop is located in a residential area on a hill, so it feels like a bit of a hideaway.The well-kept garden can be seen from the front of the counter, and the atmosphere is quite nice.The staff was attentive and the food was very satisfying (especially the abalone). “I visited Showa Chinese Restaurant Asahitei in Nishiasahi Town for the first time for lunch. An elderly couple are working hard together. I received the champon set. Both the noodles and fried rice had a beautiful color and were delicious with a simple salty flavor. Delivery is very fast. I'm also surprised at how cheap it is. There were no 2 parking spaces available in the restaurant's parking lot, so I parked at a nearby coin parking lot, but I was able to finish my meal and leave the parking lot within 30 minutes. Since this is a Showa era store, payment is only in cash.”
