“This place was a nice surprise. The atmosphere was very pleasant, they give you a tablet and you can order 5 plates each person every 10 minutes and then the food starts arriving in a good pace. The sushi was nice, their sashimi is amazing, they have some very creative rolls like then one with tartufo and the one with pistacchio and mango. I was less of a fan of the fried rolls but overall it was good.”

“Found this place while playing bowling at San Lazzaro. It's on the side of a highway, so not so accessible on foot. The atmosfere is great, they have both Japanese and Chinese dishes available, and a great variety of them: even though I've had many meals at Japanese restraunts in these 3 days at Bologna, I was still able to find something new to try, and it was a great experiance. Price wise, they have a menu a la carte and it's a little higher than your averege restraunt, 3 dishes and a drink totaled in 40 euro including service fee.”

“Italian made steel chopsticks, beautiful ambient/jazz music with the river as a backdrop - perfect! Nigiri was brought out quickly and tempted us to order more while waiting for some rolls. The Unagi melts in your mouth. Unfortunately the Unagi roll is only on the lunch menu, but they graciously made one for me. Service was impeccably performed by English speaking staff. *Watch the last step down if you dine upstairs, still nursing a broken toe from the fall.”

“This is a must-go for all Asian food lovers. Definitely not the average all-you-can-eat, Sabakaita is managed by very young and qualified personnel. Long story short: in the early 2000s an Italian sushi lover starts his own "sushi-chef at home" business, then it grows bigger and bigger; years later his two sons open this local restaurant in town bringing the same passion and love for Japanese cuisine. Note: "Sabakaita" is a funny name of fantasy which mixes the local dialect (romagnolo) to some japanese-like sounding name. It is very entertaining, once you get it. I recommend the eating experience at the bar, facing the chef (one of the two very talkative brothers) as the Japanese tradition rules. The cocktails are exquisite as well, give it a chance. Definitely going to repeat the experience.”

“Unfortunately, it was the worst sushi of my life. I took it with delivery and the smell of the old frying oil entered my apartment once the food arrived, even though I ordered NOTHING fried. I really had difficulties the eat those things. I hate wasting food but that time I had no choice. Never again…”

“I ordered the chicken Ramen and the Salmon Sashimi. The Ramen was extremely overcooked, probably due to it continuing its cooking process in its delivery container. I wish they would slightly undercook the ramen, so that when it arrives at home, it is perfectly cooked. I didn’t find the broth tasty at all, it kind of tasted like I was eating a bouillon broth only. It had two tiny chicken strips in it, which I should probably be grateful for now since this food put me in the bathroom for the entire night. I don’t know if it was the chicken Ramen or the Sashimi, but I had the worst stomach cramps and night. The Sashimi tasted alright, even though I prefer to have slices that are less thick. That might just be a matter of preference though. As I am writing this in pain, I will not recommend the delivery service nor this Ramen to anyone.”

“We come here once a month, and usually get the all-you-can-eat option. The food is great and the service is truly outstanding and very well organized. Our favourite waiter is the guy who follows the philosophy of Bruce Lee and studied Wine science, who always adds a cultural touch to the restaurant's atmosphere. We also like the newest addition to the staff, the great traveling serving robot :-)”

“What a nice place! The atmosphere emulates a Japanese street market. Even tho the menu is quite limited the food was delicious and generous. I loved the meat gyoza and recommend it. It’s a must to try and we’ll definitely go back.”
