“This restaurant is fantastic and has amiable owners and cooks. There are only shared tables for a total of 16 persons, and there are two built-in teppanyaki grills. The cook prepares the food in front of you. The lunch includes some appetizers. Everything is very nicely presented, and you get extraordinary service and atmosphere. The only negative is that this restaurant is not that easy to find. I would recommend this to everyone wanting a Japanese tepanyaki experience. We tried yakisoba and okonkmiyaki”

The only thing I wasn’t super excited about: The dumplings - steamed they would surely be nicer and more authentic, given the choice of ingredients. “The landscape of Germany is very different, the heart of Germany is full of middle high moutains and a lot of forests. There is many many wood, a lot of trees around these romantic landscape. If you want to know the real Germany, than you need visit these hidden heart ... just in the geogrphical middle, there you find the landscape called Rhoen. The pronunciation of this more like listen a deer in pairing seasons ... or like a song of Rammstein, but you can speak out so easy and soo loud as you can. Inside of these beautiful landscape you will find a very down home cuisine, made the best and well tasty meals you ever get in different countries. They made it from deer, from various fish and the best vegetables! This small restaurant is an excellent example, how to make good meal without any overdone cookings. Together with the high potential local beer or an excellent local wine you will enjoy your stay more and more. The prices are good and not overrated. The only one thing you need to do is ... you need find the location! You know it`s a hidden restaurant in a hidden landscape.”

“The food was of course great, for that I give more than 5 stars if I could. But what I don't like is the timed entry and exit. I mean going out for dinner is not that inexpensive anymore. The more it matters that I enjoy the time I spend for dinner. But here I had a feeling the waiter was not checking on us to make sure we have everything but rather that we get kicked out in a timely manner for the next reservation that makes $$$$$. Our plates were actually not empty but they kept asking us if we were done and at some point it only got annoying. And at the end they in a nicer manner told us it's time to pay and leave. But I have to point out that the food was very delicious just the service and the way they handle the bookings is not professional.”

“My experience at Sushihaus was quite mixed. Upon entering, we encountered a rather unpleasant situation with one waitress who completely ignored us. We took it upon ourselves to find a table, and when we did, she scolded us aggressively for not waiting. This initial encounter was surprising and left us bewildered. However, our experience took a turn for the better when another waitress, whose name I can't recall but who had Italian origins, came to our table. She was the complete opposite – friendly, professional, and wearing a warm smile throughout. Her service was a stark contrast to the earlier encounter and helped improve our overall impression. Now, onto the food: The Asian soup I ordered was truly outstanding and possibly the best I've ever had. It was a spectacular start to the meal. However, the vegetarian sushi was just okay, nothing extraordinary. The real disappointment came with the seafood sushi labeled as "crunchy," which had below-average quality. I wouldn't recommend it, either for the food quality or the inconsistent service we received from one of the waitresses. In summary, Sushihaus provided a mixed dining experience. While the Asian soup was remarkable and one of the waitresses provided excellent service, the quality of the food, especially the seafood sushi, left much to be desired. The initial encounter with an unfriendly waitress also affected our overall impression of the restaurant.”

“I am a regular guest and love the bento boxes, they are top class. My recent visit though was disappointing, maybe its C19 related. The place comes across as not well maintained. The menus ( the restaurant's offering) were overused and not clean at all. Usually I am tolerant on those things but I had guests joining me and got negative comments. I will give it another try than decide if I qualify the restaurant out.”

“From the moment we stepped through the doors to walk in, 'till the moment we walked out, it was absolutley perfect. The service was very nice and fast and even tho the place was almost full, they made sure to check up on us regularly. I don't have anything negative to say about the food. I especially liked the way they serve the fries, as you can see in the photo with the stake. I tried the sesame ice for the first time and I was pleased with it's, almost like nut taste. The atmosphere gives off a modern style japanese bar/restaurant feeling due to the dark brown wood furniture combined with black and dark colors and some wall portions that imitate vegetation. We enjoyed our dinner very much and I recomend this place to anyone who likes a modernized asian cuisine and a dark and cozy but at the same time bright, atmosphere rounded up by a nice and fast service.”

“Today I had dinner in this small restaurant, the tuna tartare is very good and the gyosas are also because of the 2 things we are going to have for dinner, the sushi is not very good in my opinion the rice is very sticky and very fat in fact it is like a dough and the Tanoshimi Tartare of hand-cut bull with sturgeon caviar Kizami Wasabi, Homemade Ponzu Sauce ann Spring onions. In my opinion, it is not very good, that combination of flavors does not fit well, the customer service, the waiter was arrogant at the beginning, he had a cart with a 3-month-old baby who was sleeping and said that we should leave her outside because there was not much room inside having the baby's car 🤦‍♀️ crazy😵‍💫 of course I said no and then he was unpleasant in the short time we were there we ate quickly in 30 minutes and I left I was uncomfortable there and he talked to the one who made the sushi arrogant towards us as we are hindering there, conclusion you can not go with children because they do not like there. On another occasion for several years there was a very kind Asian waitress, the woman was attentive, nice, but today she wasn't there, I don't know if she was free or left work, but that woman was very kind, she took good care of us and accepted the children normally.”

“Came here for lunch on Tuesday. Not sure where the pictures of the large sashimi plates came from, as I was told there was no menu and the only food available was the conveyor plates. There are two belts, one for dim sum style bites and one for sushi and desserts. The dim sum belt has a variety of fried and stirfried selections and fillers like white rice, with some Hong Kong style desserts as well. Mediocre quality. About a quarter of the sushi belt is desserts, and half is vegetarian. The only fish I can see are salmon and minced tuna, with the rare fried shrimp or mackerel making cameo appearances. Disappointing selection and variety. The sushi rice is gummy, glue-like, salty, and very cold, reminiscent of grocery or convenience store sushi sitting in the fridge aisle for hours. The quality of the fish I was able to try was...okay. It wasn't super fresh, but at least it wasn't too gummy. I paid €17,80 (cash only) for all-you-can-eat. This place might be good for locals who're looking for something quick and closeby during lunch hour, but if you want proper sushi I don't recommend it.”
