“waited in line for a few minutes before we could get seated! seemed busy, but to no ones surprise :). found this spot from reddit japan recs, and was worth the wait even in the rain. their specialty is cold udon, but you can’t go wrong with anything else on the menu too. the shrimp tempura hits different and was easily the best one i’ve had in japan. the beef (niku) udon was such a delight too!! fyi - no pictures allowed cept for food.”

“It’s a small eatery, sits only 10 pax but the customers eat and go. Worth the wait. I had the 5 piece sashimi set, grilled lumberjack cheek and sake. The sashimi is so fresh and delicious, served fast after ordering. Enjoyed every bite of the seafood. The fish cheek was well salted and perfectly grilled, it’s the best I had eaten so far. Please give it a try. So happy to chance upon this humble sushi place that delivers such good quality that delights one’s palate.”

Really great value for what you get We went there for my wife’s birthday dinner and had a blast All dishes were stellar but some good standouts: the Uniku (if you’re a fan of uni and beef tartar), the thick cut tongue, the misuji shabu style and the marinated short ribs. The rice was also amazing and my kids inhaled the ochazuke Service was also really great. Very friendly. Varying levels of English competence tho they had an Indonesian waitress whose English was great”

Proper wholesome, delicious curry with fruity aftertaste. Nicely fried Katsu that melts in your mouth and juicy pickles. Everything you could want in a curry. Is it the best I’ve ever had? No. That still goes to Kojika in Ofunato, but it’s definitely a top 5 competitor.”
