“We really enjoyed everything about this place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fresh and good quality. Atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be back as often as we can. So far the best sushi we've had in Omaha. We ordered a sushi combo off the main menu and the sushi menu and loved everything. The presentation was beautiful. We got salads and couldn't decide on the dressing so our server brought us small dishes with each kind and both were delicious. Even the bathroom was clean and smelled nice.”

“We always have great food and service, but this time was different. Just to be clear the restaurant was not busy at all. We sat down on the hibachi said to eat and we had to wait 45 minutes until the table was full before they would take our order. We don't have this issue in Kearney, but then again its a different restaurant. We almost walked out because of our wait. No said anything to us about our wait. So after our table is full another couple sat down at the hibachi next to ours and they were actually told it would be a 45 minute wait. So they ended up walking out. It seems as if this is happening more and more with all restaurants. I hope this issue is fixed A.S.A.P. On a positive note our chef was funny and the waitress did an amazing job.”

“An absolute must try! I kick myself for waiting so long to try this Japanese gem. An average exterior lends to the surprise that awaits you inside. Koen offers an impressive interior that is decorated quite impressively. The staff is knowledgable, helpful and super friendly. We began at the bar and waited for a drink. Not long mind you. The bar tender prepared us for the up coming experience. Experience is definitely the word here as it is just that. Depending on what you order, you have the option to sit at a table where you grill your own meal. The menu is vast but don’t worry they will guide you. The food was excellent, flavorful and for the most part very healthy. Im into the Keto diet and Koen has everything you need to eat well while servicing your taste buds. Its not everyday you have fun eating but thats a great description of Koen. Take a friend thats having a birthday! You will love what comes next!!!!”
