“We ordered the sushi sashimi for to dinner $72. They want to charge us for spicy sauce for extra $2, I paid. When we get the dinner home, five pieces of fish were not fresh and falling apart, one piece of fish that I put in the picture here was just the skin on top of rice. I don’t recommend this restaurant you will be very disappointed.”

“We love this place! We used to be regulars here but moved out of state! When we come back to visit it is always on our must visit places! The food is great they have items on the menu no one else has! The service is always great and the people are very friendly! I Know just like any good places there is sometimes a wait but usually not to bad and well worth it! I Highly recommend Kotobuki!”

“This was my first Long Island restaurant so I really did not know what to expect but people in Texas know good tacos, so this seemed like a good choice. Off back the restaurant is decorated well; it is eclectic but it still feels like everything belows in the same restaurant (minus the leg lamp for Another Christmas Story but is about Christmas time). This is a Mexican Asian fusion restaurant and I do think they pulled it off. The food overall was really good. I thought the chicken on the Kung pao taco was a bit tough and chewy, but the other two tacos I enjoyed. Everything is à la carte and our server, who was great, suggested 2-3 tacos a person. Tacos run on average about $6 each. I spent about 50$ before tip on 1 appetizer, 1 cocktail, and 3 tacos. I would come back if I was near a location. One thing I noticed, not sure if it's for this restaurant or a Long Island thing, there were two prices on the menu for cash and card, if you pay card it is a 4% increase.”

“This seafood place was a cozy little restaurant. My wife and I celebrated restaurant week and found this spot from a Google search. This restaurant can is visible from a vehicle moving in regular traffic. Lots of parking on the side of the building. Two ways to enter and exit. There is a wheelchair-accessible ramp to enter. There was a short wait of about 10 minutes to get served. The attendant was pleasant and courteous and checked on us regularly. The food was excellent. The menu did not have much low carbs options for eats and alcoholic beverages. The restaurant had a good deal for restaurant week which ends May 1st. One restroom is available for patrons, and an adjacent convenient store under the same name. This restaurant has tables suitable for six people and catered to adults and children. I did not see high chairs in the restaurant or changing tables in the restroom.”

“Went for a birthday dinner with a group of 6. The service was A1. Very nice and helpful. The table was also a horseshoe shape that was nice for the group to interact. It was restaurant week. The food was good, above average. Nothing blew us away but it was good. I will go back.”

“Stopped in with a group of friends on a Monday night, the service was very fast! Our waitress was very nice and brought us over a bowl of edamame on the house. The ambiance was very nice inside, the food came out in a timely manner. Everything tasted DELICIOUS. Will definitely be back!”

“Love this restaurant specially its location at the mall. Their menu varies from sushi options to all American burgers to healthy salads! Love getting their miso soup, hand rolls, Kani salad. Their turkey burger is also so delicious as well as their wings. Their French onion soup is one of the best ones I’ve had! You can sit outside during nice weather, or at the bar and watch the chefs prepare sushi in front of you or at a regular indoor table. Never too packed.”

“The freshest sushi I've had in years in the coolest atmosphere. Nisen goes above and beyond to serve fresh, quality fish—and you can taste the difference. Every roll is beautiful and well thought out. Prices are fair, and portions are large! They have a wonderful happy hour every day of the week and even live music on the weekends. The staff is kind and welcoming, and the owner Tom is a ray of sunshine. I love the fun customers I meet, and the ambience is modern, vibey, and club-esque in a classy way. My favorite sushi restaurant on LI. Don't miss the beautiful craft cocktails and the big bento dinners as well!”

“Such a wonderful spot in the south Huntington / Melville area. The staff were all so inviting and the restaurant was beautiful and clean. The food was great. Started with the lobster tacos. Really good amount of lobster, good crunch, and the sweet mango sauce was a good combination. For my main, I got the Farmingdale roll. The combo of the spicy yellowtail, and the pepper tuna and pepper salmon worked so well. I really enjoy the peppered fish. The sauces on top weren't overpowering either. This really is a nice spot to go. Great for a casual sit down or even a date night.”

“Ordered through their website for take out yesterday afternoon, $45 worth of food. I scheduled it to be picked up 45 minutes from the time of order. I ordered extra items to get the $40+ “free item”. I showed up at the exact “ready” time and had to wait 15 minutes for the food, and they were not busy. Probably did not start cooking until I arrived. Anyway, I get home and noticed a few of the extra items were missing. Also noticed the “free $40+ item” was not what I had selected. The beef lo Mein I ordered tasted spoiled (the beef quality was also rubbery, tough and filled with fat/cartilage). The boneless roast pork was OK. My wife’s food was good so that was all that mattered in the end. Pouring rain out and did not feel up to driving 10 mins back to the restaurant. Overall quality has gone down recently. Prices went up, which I understand. But $45 for 4 items (one was soup!) left me with a sour experience. Will not be going back here.”
