“Wonderful authentic Japanese experience on what is a beautiful island. The hotel building is dated but the staff are very friendly and courteous. The room was very spacious with a lovely view with deer roaming outside. The food is very seafood oriented but you can request dietary requirements up to 3 days in advance. The onsen was a great experience. There is also table tennis. The hotel provides a free minibus service to and from the pier as it is quite a long way to walk.”

“A really beautiful hotel in Miyajima, walking distance from most sights in the town. Our room had a lovely view of the O-torri gate which was very special. We stayed in a traditional Japanese room which was very beautiful and a good experience. We are not from Japan, so I do wish we had looked up some of the etiquette for Japanese style rooms beforehand. There were some things we did not know and I would want to avoid offending the staff, who were all so kind and accommodating. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious and included a lovely assortment of seasonal fish. The hotel also offers a shuttle from the ferry, which was very nice.”

“Good position next to the Hiroshima station. Room was ok, clean, mini fridge,kettle, safe, hairdryer. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was poor and with no proper breakfast space, just at the reception and the entrance. No forks, knives, just plastic spoons and chopsticks. Noisy.”

The only downside are the basins which are quite low for a tall person and the hotel showing some signs of ageing.”

“I came to the second hot spring from Jingo Onsen. I came expecting it to be slippery since Alcal has a pH of 10.2. The milky white water was as expected. There is no sauna. The indoor bath has one bathtub, and the outdoor bath I thought was an open-air bath, but when I opened the door, I went down the hallway and saw a door on my right. When I opened it, there was an indoor bathtub and a hot spring bath similar to the bath above. did. For the first time, I realized that there is a difference between a public bath and an open-air bath. The hot spring water bath was so cold that I didn't have the courage to take a bath. The hot water was a nice hot spring with flowers floating in it. Payment was via PayPay and was 900 yen per adult. There were few visitors. It's a hot spring that I'd like to visit often if it's nearby. The parking lot can accommodate a considerable number of cars. There was a hot spring on the left and a rest room on the right, and there was a kotatsu (kotatsu) in the rest room, so we could relax and stay warm.”

The onsen is managed good and has beautiful garden view. The food is Japanese dishes. There is nothing bad as Japanese onsen, but I feel a something to add at these.
