“Generally it was a nice hotel. Here are some great things: 1. Receptionists were very kind and professional. 2. Very close from the Ikebukuro-station, 1F is Family Mart convenience store. 3. Access: Walk for 3 minutes and you can find plenty of restaurants and pubs. 4, FREE breakfast to enjoy! (Photos) The aspects I found lacking were the hygiene standards and the quality of the mattress. The hotel doesn't clean rooms for three days at a time, which includes the toilet and used cups. I believe these should be cleaned daily, along with the towels. The mattress was very firm, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the room was quite small, so I wouldn't recommend it for those who aren't accustomed to compact spaces. Despite these issues, I enjoyed my stay overall. Thank you!”

His commitment to customer satisfaction further heightened my respect for Japan's hospitality and service industry. The hotel was very new and super clean. Well located, close to three subway stations. Lots of eateries within close walking distance. Very quiet. Room was tiny, efficiently designed, although close to lots of commercial activities but super quiet. Never bothered by street noise or other guests. Highly recommend and will stay there again. No lunch or dinner. It offered a buffet breakfast for an extra fee, which I didn't want. With lots of eating options around, I never went hungry.”

“Spent a night here upon arrival at Tokyo. The hotel is near Tokyo Air Terminal and Monzen-nakacho Station. Check-In is a breeze, just be prepared with your booking and Passport. The room is kinda small but clean. Bathroom is complete with amenities (soap, shampoo and towels). They provide free Wi-Fi in the rooms. Breakfast is delicious, lots of varieties to choose from. Quite surprised they have a coin laundry and vending machines in the building. The only comment I can give is the Check-In and Check-Out time, it starts at 4:00 PM and ends at 10:00 AM, quite short for an overnight stay as compared to other countries.”

“WARNING: BED BUGS ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️ I stayed at Shibuya En hotel from Nov 12-13 in room 306. I paid ¥26,674 for one night because we wanted a nicer room. This is where our nightmare began. My friend did not have ANY bites or marks before going to bed. When he woke up in the morning he was COVERED in bites. The pictures don't do it justice. Bites on neck, back, arms and hands. He didn't mention it until we had checked out as we left in a rush. On day of check out I emailed shibuya en hotel via their website. I also messaged them on instagram. Extremely disappointingly they DID NOT REPLY TO ME AT ALL. I didn't want to blast them publicly but it is very much a matter of public health and safety. Bedbugs can spread very fast and can cause anaphylaxis. I've had bedbugs before and they are a NIGHTMARE to deal with. We stayed up until 2am that night at the laundromat washing and drying EVERY Single bit of our many luggage, costing a fair bit as well. Summary: paid over $300 dollars Australian for one night, got bed bugs, contacted the hotel twice and got no reply. Do not stay here as if there is an issue they will ghost you as they have for me. It's completely ruined our trip.”

The room were neat and tidy, and the stuff very accommodating. Fast elevator too and rhe room was super quiet. You cannot hear much from the other rooms and banging from above, which is a welcome change as I am light sleeper! So why one star less? The hotel cafe unfortunately did not have much variety for snacking or meals and the laundry was unfortunately very good. I had my clothes for three hours and they were dried properly. Nevertheless, I would definitely stay there again although the hotel will be permanently closed from the 25th of December.”
