“The food, while it looked great, was totally BLAND! Gumbo had no flavor salt barely helped it. The crab cake sandwich was super mushy with nothing but filled. After one bite the patty just fell apart. The fries were good. The band did what they were supposed to do. The service was super slow and everyone’s food came out separately and so far between that we had to ask the waiter a few times about our food and drinks. It took about 20-30 minutes to get 3 shots. By time we got them it was time to head out the door and the band was over.”

The chandelier’s twinkling, a piano awaiting a musician, comfortable leather sofas and chairs, glowing fireplaces, views to the balcony overlooking downtown Lakeland are just a few of the things making this spot such a treat to visit. We heard live jazz music by Fred Cantù and some couples danced the night away. The drinks are reasonable priced and there are some cheese platters for nibbling on. However, we observed an unexpected increase in price for the second round, despite ordering the same drinks. Despite this minor setback on New Year's Day, we opted to focus on enjoying the exceptional music. Additionally, there was an incident with one of the bartenders, a stout individual, who exhibited rudeness when I attempted to capture a photo of the bar, stating firmly not to consider taking any photographs. so be prepare for that if you’re planning to visit.”

Overall had a bit of vibe of a speakeasy but didn’t seem like a proper one - not much secretive or discreet ! The staff serving the drinks were friendly ! “This is one of our favorite places! The food is delicious and the cocktails tasty. Plus the have live music! Highly recommend making a reservation as it is a small venue and we watch them turn walk ins away. I just wish they would expand their menu a little bit to include a few more dishes. Seems like it may still be limited from Covid. Maybe even just a fried rice with choice of protein and some type of dessert, I suggest something simple like green tea ice cream!”

“The atmosphere was so cozy that I decided to visit twice while in Charleston! This bar is on the 2nd floor with stair leading directly up into it, and gives speakeasy vibes. The cocktails are delicious! The outdoor patio area is also very nice, with some more private areas as well. I like how the prices are advertised via their online menu, which is available via QR code. There is also a whiteboard of cocktails by the bar as well.”

“Came here for dinner on Halloween night. It was pretty empty so we had the pleasure of having the band just to ourselves which was wonderful. It came close to being a private dinner with live music. The drinks were excellent and food was decent and would highly recommend the coconut shrimp. The music was fantastic and the service was great. The portion sizes are big so keep in mind when ordering. Overall a good experience and will come back again”

“Definitely old school Vegas vibes. Video poker at the bar, lush carpet on the floors. From the outside you'd think it was a pot shop or speak easy as it is a non discript building with no windows. “I heard about this place last year and planned on visiting at some point. It was my cousins Birthday and another cousin recommended it, so we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival we were greeted by security/door man. He was a very nice young man. As soon as we seated, we were immediately greeted by the waitress she was such a sweetheart. We ordered our drinks, which were amazing by the way. Cudos to the bartender. The crowd & atmosphere was surprisingly great. We had a very good time not only watching but also participating in Karaoke. I will be visiting again and would recommend.”
