( they will make it hot for you if you ask 😀) If you haven't had Vietnamese coffee you are in for a treat it taste like a coffee milk shake no bitter after taste but nice and strong. They have a huge coffee and tea menu as well as a whole lot of creative non caffeine drinks! Location is really cute for quick business meetings with clients! Very unusual drinks. “Love this Starbucks for one big reason, they separate the mobile orders from the walk-in orders. There are two separate machines working and two separate pickup areas. This is so nice to be able to see your drink come out in the actual order it was taken instead of when the mobile orders are intermingled with the walk-ins. Great job for being able to do this! It's also beautifully decorated!”

“Overall not bad but also not the best. The coffee was good and the service was great and the restaurant itself was nice but the food left something to be desired. The tater tots were good but other than that it seemed overpriced for the quality of food. Would maybe recommend for coffee but not for food. Edit: After the owner replying asking more detail, I would state that I had the breakfast burrito and my partner the vegan breakfast burrito along with 2 cold brew coffees. I didn't order online but the purchase was made in store and with a credit card under my name, it should be there in the system. The burritos mostly tasted like salsa and they were also very leaky. I had some of my burrito left and put it in its wrapper and back in the original paper bag and it leaked through both layers and onto the seat of my rental car (which I had to report). It just had a lot of juice coming from it and again mostly tasted like salsa. Hope this helps, I don't want any kind of refund or anything just my honest feedback. Have a great day!”

The food is simply scrumptious. Everything that I have ordered here brings my taste buds to ecstasy. It’s rare for me to eat out and not have to add seasoning. One gets the sense that the food is prepared with tons of love. I recently brought my Texas family here for brunch and they couldn’t stop thanking me and singing the praise of their meals. The children had the vegan sliders and consumed everything. The parents got the vegan nachos and fell in love with them and we’re thankful for the large portion. My wife got the Soul Bowl, the only thing she wanted was more of it. I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito it was totally satisfying. The family also enjoyed the flavors of their Smoothies they tried to get the recipe to replicate it in Texas. Needless to say, however, I highly recommend The Hot and Cool Cafe in the legendary Leimert Park Village. When you get there tell them Omar sent you.”

I suspect that many of their drinks are made with syrups or powders but the finished products are really good. The Green Panda is one of my go-tos. The service is amazing with free samples because their drinks are so unique. It's like a night club in the evenings because of the loud music and backlit decor. They have video games at the bar and 2 large booths.”
