“I love the hot and cool café. The atmosphere is charging with creativity and positive vibrations. The walls, the floor and everything speaks of cultural pride and The beloved community. The food is simply scrumptious. Everything that I have ordered here brings my taste buds to ecstasy. It’s rare for me to eat out and not have to add seasoning. One gets the sense that the food is prepared with tons of love. I recently brought my Texas family here for brunch and they couldn’t stop thanking me and singing the praise of their meals. The children had the vegan sliders and consumed everything. The parents got the vegan nachos and fell in love with them and we’re thankful for the large portion. My wife got the Soul Bowl, the only thing she wanted was more of it. I ordered the vegan breakfast burrito it was totally satisfying. The family also enjoyed the flavors of their Smoothies they tried to get the recipe to replicate it in Texas. Needless to say, however, I highly recommend The Hot and Cool Cafe in the legendary Leimert Park Village. When you get there tell them Omar sent you.”

“Randomly came across A Tea Thing while driving around in the valley. It's a small Tea cafe located in a busy shopping center in Reseda, CA. Parking was a breeze and I was in and out quickly. The place itself isn't big and it doesn't really have any aesthetic going on. It's very bland. However, it was very clean! So I'll take clean overlooks. There is seating inside and you could potentially bring your laptop if you wanted to get some work done. They offer milk teas, cream drinks, coffee, tornado drinks, teas, etc… I went with a Thai Iced Tea with crystal boba and my daughter got a mango pineapple tornado. The drinks were great! I'll be back!”

As a person who is starting out in the Boba world. I do appreciate their simple menu. Other boba shops’s menu looks complicated. I had the Milk Icee with caramel and pudding with boba.. so good!
