“I really didn't expect much and went but it was so delicious and it tasted exactly like what I always ate in Korea. They made the food very original and Gimbap was worth it to try. Very very nice. They accept Credit cards and EC card and cash. I will taste all the menu for sure. I left nothing on the dish. Highly recommend to people who want to eat real Korean food. It's worth it. Trust me.”

“Such a gem in Essen! One of the best Bulgogi I have ever eaten. I recommend you to have Dolsot Bibimbap. The portion is quite large and the food is hot until the end! It served with two side dishes. The staff was welcoming and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!”

“Went here for takeaway Korean fried chicken. We ordered (all big portions) Ganjang Chicken, Kkangpung Chicken, and original Fried Chicken 🍗 if you are planning for dine in, you have to reserve beforehand, because it's always full. The foods tasted great and each big portion is big enough to share between 2-3 person. Won't recommend it for a family dinner with elderly (dine in), since it's always packed with youngsters. It was overall a good takeaway experience.”

“Had a really delightful evening meal here on Halloween evening. The waitress provided excellent service. She seemed to genuinely care that we were having a good meal experience. We were a table for four. We tried the mixed starter, which was delicious. Everyone was impressed with their main course, and the desserts were equally impressive. A very extensive wine selection. I can definitely recommend the Cremant.”

Kim's So Korean Food

Neue Brücke 8, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany

“This is not a real “Korean Food” at all! The owner looks like Chineses or Vientnamese. I’m a Korean-American. I think they have a very poor understanding of Korean food. We ordered budae stew and tteokbokki. The tteokbokki was very average, but the problem was the budae stew. There was no ham or sausage, which is the most important part of Budae Jjigae, and of course there was no tofu, fish cake, dumplings, etc. 80% of the ingredients were tangled frozen pork, and there was only one ramen on top. The soup wasn't spicy, it just tasted like meat broth. I called the staff and asked again if this was “Budae-jjigae”. For a Korean restaurant, it is not necessary to hire a Korean chef, but I think at least basic research on Korean food is necessary. I was very, very disappointed, and I wanted to leave this review to say that the food served at this restaurant is not "Korean Food" at all and to avoid any misunderstandings about "Korean Food." One more thing.! They don’t accept credit card.”

Krähenstraße 34, 23552 Lübeck, Germany

“I am from Asia, and I always like to discover how different cultures blended together. Strolling through Lübeck's tidy and slightly uneven stone-paved streets, through the gangs that are not the same, I found Hana Lübeck near St. Aegidien Church. Almost all tables are in front of large glass windows. I tasted Korean-style meals and watched the nearby residents having picnics by the water surrounding Lübeck. I immediately felt a harmony between local residents and tourists. Of course, Hana's food also conveys the warmth and harmony of different cultures. In Korean food settings, I first tasted vegetarian dumplings and Tteok Kkochi, and then a Korea-Chicken that crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with the owner's homemade delicious Onion Cheese powder, mayo dip sauce, and three kinds of Korean kimchi. A bowl of rice absolutely comfort my stomach with satisfaction. The sweet and gentle service, the mocktails and the green tea flavored desserts are all details I love. When I dine at Hana, I love Lübeck even more, and next time I will try Bibimbap.”

“Kimchi is a small 100% Korean restaurant near Bremen city center. Very cosy place and great food for a fair price. All Korean classics are on the menu: Bibimbap, tteokbokki, Bulgogi, Japchae and more. One person is serving the whole restaurant! But she does it swiftly and friendly.”

“Nice interior and location next to Innenhafen. The food, we had sushi menus and a Korean seafood bowl was alright, but I have to admit I definitely had beet sushi in a few places. We were a table of 4 and would have loved to order some more stuff but the service lady was really sloppy and rather rude. It was not busy at all, I don't know what went wrong. One of the few times I didn't give a tip. General suggestion: please get rid of the Schauinsland paper sets in the table. Maybe think of light alternatives. It was really dark, as the only light was one candle on our table.”
