“I'd give the Lockhart 4.5 as a restaurant but 3.5 as a pub. The food is great, especially the amazing chicken wings. Restaurant service is really good. Great roasts. Popping in for a pint is more difficult experience than it used to be though. Seating only so one has to wait to be seated, wait for a beer menu, wait for the order to be taken, then wait for the beer to be delivered. It can sometimes take 15 mins from entering to getting a drink, if a table is available. Choice of beer remains good, but I sense a slight decline in variety in recent years.”

“Small, authentic Korean eatery. Came on Saturday but the queue was very long I had to abandon but came again Wednesday lunch and no queue. Very small inside with roughly 15 seats on communal tables. I’m also impressed with how clean it is and how attentive the staff are. I ordered the vegetable bibimbap (simple, delicious) and the vegetable pancake (yummy). Very good prices. Will be back to try the other items!”

“Edit: the cost of the meal is not reflective of the great value. The reason it was high is that I think we ate and drank enough for 4/5 people :-) One the best dinners out I have had for years. Food was out of this world, Service was amazing and the experience was one that I will keep going back for. 100% recommend this restaurant as worth the short walk up from town and you will enjoy the walk back as I need it after eating so much delicious food.”

“Best fried chicken I've had in my life. Kimbap ans dumplings were perfect aswell. The spicy food can be really spicy though, so be careful. Was busy but waiters were polite and got the orders right. If I'm back in London sometime I will definitely go again. It is not cheap, but the prices are perfectly reasonable for the amount and quality you're getting”

“We went to Miga for lunch and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are helpful and friendly but the freshly cooked food is the star of the show. We got a chicken combo starter which was a selection of crispy fried bites with different sauces and flavours and it was incredible. The bbq chicken ramen was one of the best I've had while the bbq pork yakisoba was equally delicious. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Tasty authentic food, great for a change and different to anything else I’ve had in Bristol. There isn’t many veggie mains (we went for 2) to pick from but there’s some great veggie starters — definitely recommend the tempura vegetables. The restaurant is owned by husband and wife. The wife does the cooking and husband is front of house. He told us since covid they’ve lost a lot of a their regular locals and have struggled to recruit staff so it’s just the two of them running the entire restaurant. Despite going through treatment at the moment and being in a lot of pain, the husband had a continuous smile on his face and was so sweet, kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend going here for a lovely atmosphere and personal experience.”

I came here with my friends on a Saturday night, we totally understand how busy it usually is on weekends, but the way they rush customers to finish the meal is quite disgraceful. We ordered the VIP BBQ platter, king prawns and scallops, they cooked most of the food for us which we really appreciated it, they told us what is ready to eat but in fact it wasn’t fully cooked - especially the scallops and chicken. It’s such a shame and doubt we would come back again.”

“This restaurant provides all you can eat dim sum and hot pot. We came here for all you can eat dim sum 點心 before, however, you can only order dumpling or bun type of steamed dim sum. Other types require additional charge. The dim sum is very fresh and tasty even if it is all you can eat type. After trying once I don’t find the deal too attractive as you can only have the steamed ones. Second time we came here, we just ordered à la cart. The black bean sauce fried squid was really delicious. Beef ho fun 乾炒牛河was also tasty. The service is very good. However, the floor and the bathroom were kind of filthy. It is a good choice for Chinese food , if you are doing sightseeing in Westminster or just working around here.”

“Visited this restaurant at the insistence of my daughter. Staff were very accommodating and polite. The downstairs is quite cramped so we asked to sit upstairs which is much better. Ordered drinks and food altogether but the drinks came out some time after most of the food did. The food came out surprisingly quick, and my spicy barbecue pork was a little on the cold side already. They have a special hallaal menu, so we assumed that on their normal menu, only the pork, seafood, and vegetarian dishes were suitable for us. My daughter is vegetarian anyway so she didn't care about this. The food was ok, nothing I'd be raving about. I tried Soju for the first time, and it's a lovely drink. Doesn't taste anywhere near as stong as the label says it is! I've seen people complaining about the price, but a friday night city centre dinner and drinks cost me a total of £26 per head here, which isn't bad in my opinion. I gave this place a 4, but it's more like a 3.5 for me. Not somewhere I would choose to go, but would visit again if asked by my daughter.”

“Good food quality, big portion, and especially the Seafood Pancake. The restaurant was full house and waitress were all busy and no one approached for order until after 10 minutes. The seating is a bit packed it overall it’s ok. An update after my visit today. Tried the kimchi pancake, fried glass noodle, soybean paste soup, and the bossam. The kimchi pancake was so soggy, totally soaked with oil, and the oil is not fresh and think it has turned rancid, with an aging smell. It’s a failure. See the picture , even put a napkin under it tried to soak some of the oil from the pancake but it didn’t help. The portion of the fried glass noodle was too small. It’s a bit disappointing as the quality is not consistent.”

“We came across this restaurant whilst looking online for good places to eat. Booked a Wednesday night and place was reasonably quiet but that did not detract from a really pleasant evening. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent and the Xmas decorations were amazing. Standout dish was the beef bao buns and the honey soy chicken dish. The only comment was came bill time, they included a 10% optional tip rather than having as a seperate charge should you wish. Would definitely return.”

“Currently on holiday and found this place by chance! Best Chinese I’ve had in a long time! Staff are amazing and so friendly and polite! Very honest with portion sizes too, me and my daughters were sharing, I ordered 2 of the same meal and they immediately said I’d just have one for now as it’s fairly big, we didn’t finish one portion because we had starters as well which are not little either! So glad we didn’t order the second! Hopefully will be able to fit a second visit in before we head back home 🤞🏼 the fact it’s in a boozer is just weird but it totally works brilliantly!”
