“We’ve been here a number of times but today‘s lunch was the best dining experience we have had in Hancookwan so far. We don’t have to ask for the grill plates to be changed, the staff took the initiative which is really nice. Good food, we’re so full! Totally worth the $42 per person. Kudos to today’s crew! Keep it up!”

“Food was tasty with big portions. We had sweet chilli prawns (large) and seafood black bean noodles (large) with a portion of rice and traditional Korean hand-roll. The portions were so big we took the next nights dinner home with us. 1.5% card charge seems a bit dated though.”

“Everything about this place: YES!!!! The vibe is great, beautiful decor, warm service. Had great cocktail 🍸 and the food was perfect! The short rib beef was absolutely the favourite! Had the Wagyu Yukoe and also delicious! My friends had the potatoes, tuna, snapper and dumplings 🥟 ✅ will definitely come back. Only feedback I’d give for improvement would be to allow groups to pay items / Split payments that way. Otherwise, great experience!”

“We ordered takeaway and their food was delicious! Everything we ordered was done correctly. Pancake was nice and crispy, kimchi fried rice was nicely flavoured and delicious. Their jjajjangmyeon was alright, nothing too special. Their fried chicken was crunchy and flavourful though we weren't a big fan of their garlic flavour. We'll return and try their other dishes.”
