City Hall
4.4
( 8 reviews )

Kamal Chunchie Way, London E16 1ZE, United Kingdom

“A short walk from London Excel Center, on the Elizabeth line. Expect high security, airport style. We were only in the foyer/media room. Lots of meeting rooms. Very polite and diverse staff which reflects London's population. We were offered a light lunch which was very considerate. The yacht hotel isn't far, lots of other hotel chains too. Easy access., lots of food and drink places to have a bite. The site has a café/lounge. The infrastructure is massive and space isn't used to its full potential. Could provide more services for Londoners.”

Kettering Railway Station
4.2
( 8 reviews )

Station Rd, Kettering NN15 7HJ, United Kingdom

“The station was great. A nice little station tucked away in the fields of England. There were no problems with staff and they were very nice. Apparently, the station used to have a ginger cat who would stay around the station called gingy. The cat died in 2007. The station had great design, and the waiting room was clean and quiet. A nice place to stop at if you are ever on a train going by.”

Bristol Central Library
4.2
( 10 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

College Green, Bristol BS1 5TL, United Kingdom

“Extraordinary building, impressive selection of books and other resources, and helpful, friendly staff. I feel so lucky to have use of the place, particularly in an era of relentless privatisation and cuts. It feels like a little island of civilisation and dedication to the common good. Addendum: wish the staff would put a cork in it, though. Feels weird to ask a librarian to keep it down.”

Surbiton
4
( 10 reviews )

Victoria Rd, Surbiton KT6 4PE, United Kingdom

“It is an station which has a different aesthetic. In addition it has a grocery store connected to it which is alright! These two extra things definitely make it a better looking station. The staff were all nice and unfortunately when trains were cancelled we were left stranded in the station for a while without any idea of what is happening.”

Warrington Central
3.8
( 16 reviews )

Warrington WA2 7FW, United Kingdom

“Warrington Central Station with its two unassuming platforms is a standard of functional design for catching the something past six Transpennine Service. The early morning chill is offset by the station’s straightforward amenities: clean facilities, a newsagent, and a coffee stall. Its architecture, a blend of practicality and modest charm, complements the layout. Efficiency reigns supreme here, making one almost forgive the romance of train travel for the sheer thrill of predictability.”
