10 Grand Army Plz, Brooklyn, NY 11238, United States

“The appearance of the library containing books is shaped like a huge book. Would you believe me if I came just to see the front door? You must take my word for it. Because of course there are things to see around the library as well. There is a park where you can relax. On the first floor of the library, there is a cafe where you can buy tea and snacks, and the restrooms are clean. This place especially has a lot of records and video-related materials. There are many special programs for children, so take note! Another advantage is that the materials are well divided into separate rooms and sections. Above all, the security guard at the desk was very friendly and nice.”

United Nations Secretariat Building, 405 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017, United States

“I got a tour at 11AM. I arrived on time. Those who have a tour should come at least 1 hr before because you have to pass an ID checked and security screening. After you came inside the building, you also have to get a sticker color base on your tour time. It’s for safety reason. Overall, I enjoyed the tour and the guide “Vola” was great. She explained everything clearly and she was so friendly to guests.”

Federal Reserve Bank Of New York

“Gold vault tour is worth it. Remember Make a reservation first. It’s like an education center. Taught you the history of Federal reserve, how and where the money made. Money distribution system. The most attractive place is not like what you expected. Not that shiny and bling bling like a movie show. It’s worth to learn more about it. Free reservation”

Yonkers Public Library - Riverfront
4.6
( 8 reviews )

1 Larkin Center, Yonkers, NY 10701, United States

“A very friendly and helpful staff, a great and varied selection of Spanish books, large print books, fiction, as well as philosophy, psychology, religion, African American Studies, and teen and reference sections. There is a self-checkout, a computer lab, and social events. The security are nice. If you go to the fourth floor, the view of the Hudson Waterfront is breathtaking. It is right next to Lionsgate Studios and a beautiful park with the Sawgrass River flowing through it. The train station to go to Manhattan or northward is right by the library. The Hudson River is a mere five minute walk.”

Brooklyn Public Library - Kings Highway Branch
4.1
( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

2115 Ocean Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11229, United States

“The place gets noisy sometimes, and it's not a very pleasant place to sit down and read. I usually only go there to collect my books and leave. I can't imagine anyone getting any actual work done when there's so much noise around. It's not a very nice place in general, the tables are a little small, and the general layout of the place feels kind of cramped. I wish there was a separate section just for reading and doing work, like in the peninsula public library. Though I've never personally experienced sass or attitude from the librarians, (probably because I never stay long enough to encounter anyone,) I've seen people mentioning how rude the staff is.”

Forest Hills-71 Av
4.1
( 10 reviews )

Queens, NY 11375, United States

“This station is in one of my favorite neighborhoods. It is accessible to all and has a lot of stairways to the street and platform. There are some really old signs which I'm confused is actually still there. It's cool to watch (M) and (R) trains terminating here. I also love the green color they use. Trains come by frequently.”

Brooklyn Public Library - Greenpoint Branch

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

107 Norman Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222, United States

“I mean... this is a library and I understand there are not many seats inside. However, does it really make sense to allow the public to enjoy the library when kids are constantly crying, screaming, and yelling?”

Queens Public Library At Forest Hills

( 8 reviews )
Closed until 10:00 AM

108-19 71st Ave, Queens, NY 11375, United States

“I just found out that the best children librarian Lucy is no longer at the library. She made a library a great place to be . She cared for kids and loved her job. We will miss you . Unfortunately things are changing now . I witnessed how new librarian was telling a mom with a crying child to leave during a very heavy rain pour. Lucy would’ve help a child to calm down . And project art class was a class to be . Not anymore. Hopefully they can fix that .”
