“Amazing place that does so much to help the northern Illinois community. An exceptional spot for volunteering, they have online sign ups and are extremely friendly and organized. The warehouse is super clean and tidy and the volunteer organizers make it fun and easy no matter what your abilities are. Highly recommend supporting this organization, they are doing it right! “I've been coming here with my niece and picking up her stack of books but lately workers have been rude and unpleasant. A front desk person named Valery was the rudest person ever. I've walked into the building and doesn't even say "Hi", I say Hi every time. Ive noticed with other people she does acknowledge them. I've asked her questions because sometimes she's the only one at the front and she barely answers. Ive also heard from other workers that the director isn't pleasant either. Overall staff has been getting worse and I don't even want to deal with them.”
