“I fired another pest control company that I had used across several Florida cities, for rental properties and my own homes when they got bought by a foreign company and completely changed their services and billing. I hired B&B, as a local company. I have been very highly impressed by the company's first two services. In particular, the two technicians who did my first indoor service were very thorough, polite, and gave me a complete description of what they were doing and why. The one issue I have with B&B so far is that the company instantly sends a request for a rating of the service delivered that day, and includes the solicitation of a "tip" for the technicians. Service providers should pay their employees and include that full cost in the rates paid by their customers. The "tip" solicitation really took away from an otherwise excellent first impression.”

Within 24 hours of me going into contract with ES Concrete, Eric was at my home beginning the work. And it’s not saying that he wasn’t busy,, like the others said…He was.. But he showed up ,,after hours ,,on his personal time to get started for me. Eric and his crew not only met my expectations, but far exceeded them.. This company is professional ,on time, efficient, fairly priced and more than capable of handling any job put in front of it. I will definitely use them in the future if I’m ever in need of Concrete again.. And they can count on me recommending them to anybody I come across. “We absolutely loved our stay here. We were late to check in but Hubert had sent us all the instructions super clearly. The rooms were nicely set up, clean and comfy. The lady at the breakfast (Selma, I think was her name, sorry if I forgot) made amazing waffles for us. She was super nice to talk to and treated us so well. And this property is just a few minutes walk from anywhere in the old town. So we never had to drive anywhere, just a short walk and we were in the center of the old town. All in all, this is a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“I forgot to get the owners name. This dude is amazing. He answered my questions that he has probably responded to a billion times before. He educated me and sold me some bait. He also had bait boxes for sale. They appeared to be very similar to the tom cat ones I had. He suggested that perhaps I might look at the boxes I had in see if there was a way to open them. With a pair of gloves on I had 5 bait traps opened and revealed in 5 minutes. Now I have reusable traps and a local business I will return to for my pest control needs. Thank you!”

I appreciate that if they are out of something they can usually tell you if they are getting any more in and when. There are many varieties and sizes of small flowers through trees to choose from; landscape rocks, pebbles, boulders. They have many small to large pots, fountains, and even have a neat gift shop at the rear of the property - some unique gift ideas there, especially if you are looking for something for inside decor; wall hangings, Florida decor. It is a large property, and many things going on, with many customers not familiar with the proclivities of Florida plants and trees so asking lots of questions - but a little patience yields great choices of plants and trees and some free guidance to get it done successfully.”

“We had been loyal customers of Good Deals for over ten years, purchasing washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, etc. The last time we made a purchase was for a whole set of Maytag kitchen appliances. This was right before the pandemic. We immediately had problems with the refrigerator. The ice maker, doors, lights, handles all had to be serviced, most of them more than once. The ice maker had to be serviced several times. We had a parade of repairs. After several repair visits from the original warranty, the time ran out for them to do more repairs. We did purchase the extended warranty which is through a company called "New Leaf." So we started another parade of repairmen who encountered the same issues over and over again. Now the warranty has run out, and we're back to our own trustworthy repairman to address these issues now. The refrigerator is clearly a "lemon" in my opinion, but Good Deals pointed out there had to be the exact same repair, of the same part (or something) three times for it to be considered a "lemon." The ice maker had several problems, some of them twice, but overall, the ice maker has been "repaired" at least five times, but apparently, since the specific part or piece wasn't replaced three times, we were out of luck as far as having the refrigerator replaced. And the ice maker is about to be repaired once again. I would have thought they would want to make us happy considering we were long-time customers, and have bought many high-end appliances through the years. Sadly that was not the case. We were treated more like a nuisance than a customer. I will never recommend anyone go to Good Deals for anything. And beware of Maytag; the days of the Maytag repairman sitting in a quiet office alone, waiting for a repair job to be called are long gone.”

“Highlights: Valcaria Gardens Florida’s Tropical Nursery in a Palm Bay, Florida is the most beautiful plant nursery I have visited so far in the state. I love browsing around in this nursery which makes it feels like a botanical garden as well. They have some rare tropical flowering plants and many beautiful handmade pottery and sculptures. Their tranquil garden designs are set up beautifully with a balance of harmony and symmetry in mind Cons: This is a very big nursery located in no man’s land, with no working public restroom and the closest restroom is located ten minutes of driving distance. I don’t recommend taking little kids here and just hope you don’t need to use the restroom while browsing here.”

I called and explained that the last pallet I received from them was bad and dried up and looked like hay and they completely dismissed what I was saying, interrupted me the entire call to intimidate me and blamed me for the sod looking that way. Saying lack of water but yet the rest of my lawn looks great except where the last batch was laid . It has rained like crazy and I have irrigation. She kept saying we don’t have you in the system and we didn’t deliver to you to avoid responsibility. No warranty and no refunds is her response. they asked for pictures and clearly see the difference but don’t want to put out but they will take your money and blame the customer. She was very sarcastic and condescending as if someone did something terribly wrong to her when I lose in this situation. Basically she said too bad too sad! Telling me how long you been in business, idc. I want what I paid for. Just because you have been in business long doesn’t mean anything, especially if you have disappointed customers and some bad reviews from what I see with the same complaint.”
