“Amazing food!! Came twice in two days! Fast, tasty and really good flavors of tacos, quesadillas and burrito! Family owned business! Sitting are is very fast food like, but it doesn't mean its not good. There is a bar for a drinks and can imagine that evening is buzzing! Margaritas, sangrias available! Absolute recommendation!”

“First off , service was excellent. The girl who took care of us was super friendly and really knew the menu. She was cheerful and that goes a long way with us. I ordered the mole enchiladas and it did not disappoint . Mole sauce is house made and was sooo good. Rice and beans were super good too. The chips and salsa were a perfect start. Music is kind of loud and more for the younger crowd (us) but not sure if I would bring my grandma here since she would probably not like the music. Other than that we had an awesome experience and we will be returning!”

“First time trying Don Jose’s and will definitely be back. Food was delicious and staff very friendly. I had the #4 combo. - 2 shredded beef tacos. My husband had 1 beef taco, 1 fish taco and 1 shrimp taco. We also had chips and salsa. Everything was very good.”

I love Mexican Food but specifically those that the owners were the workers, incredible story, But for what is more important this review will be a 10 on Servise, friendliness, well portion, freshness, and warm as I like it. This is an easy of and on from the freeway and just one traffic light away. This family owned restaurant is very clean and organized fast in their speed of service and most importantly is very competitive with price, the quality was excellent for the price. Restrooms are available and very clean. Many options for drinks as well as aguas frescas.”

“Upscale sonoran food in a casual environment. Bacanora is getting a lot of attention and it lived up to the hype. The lime halibut ceviche was bright, fresh and the right amount of spicy. Normally cucumber salad wouldn’t be my choice but wow the sauce was incredible. We also had the scallops, a fantastic elote and the Caramelo which has great carne asada and beans on a tostada. All elevated flavors. And as my wife said, those beans were not an afterthought. Meaty, smoky beans. Most of the magic comes from the one wood fired grill in the back corner of this cozy place. The cocktails were excellent too. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Ceara! Our meal with 4 cocktails was about $100 a piece. Pricey but excellent.”

“This Chickenuevo restaurant is conveniently located and has a drive through. The employee at the counter was so cheerful and kindly made me aware of a special offer they had going on that day. I ended up ordering the chicken tacos and they were delicious. With the deal, they were $11 something with a soda. They were freshly deep fried and topped with lettuce a little cheese, onions etc. I ordered mine to-go and there's a little cold bar to load up on salsa for the road. The bathrooms were clean and the whole restaurant has a tidy ambiance. Worth visiting.”
