“We visited New Year’s Day for breakfast. The parking was a little difficult and tight but not really a problem. We were greeted right away and told we could sit wherever we wanted. It did not seem very busy but it took a few minutes for someone to come to our table, which I think was just due to short staff. (We ended up coming back the next morning and the service was impeccable!) Once we ordered, the food came out very fast and was exactly how we ordered it. We had the Denver skillet and Javier’s Combo. The food tasted great and the green chili was very good! The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the prices were reasonable. If we lived in Denver we would definitely make this a regular spot!”

We arrived a little before they were closing up (we called and they told us to make sure we got there before 6 PM) so they ran out of most of the everything. Besides that they were very accommodating especially for a family of 12.”

“Culinary treat! Every bite was full of flavor and it was prepared to perfection. The restaurant has a cool hip vibe and everyone is super friendly. We had the carrots as an appetizer - really nice and different! Recommend! The duck is beyond delicious and well paired with the sides. The chocolate beignets were amazing and a great finish of the lovely dinner. We were the last in the restaurant and everyone was accommodating and we didn't feel rushed! Highly recommend this restaurant! Enjoy!”

“The food, the service and the vibe and energy is 100% here!!! Louis was PERFECTION. This is family owned and the daughter was absolutely amazing and was so kind to update us on drinks and food and what’s the best! This will now be my New Mexican restaurant! SO GOOD!!!! The drinks… best I’ve ever had! The owner comes around to make sure the patron glassed margs taste good and comes and pours more tequila and mix! Wait until islets SHOT TIME!!!!”

“Lovely place and great atmosphere. Service was prompt even though it was pretty busy. The chips were fresh and the dip was really good. The entree was good but not awesome. The queso dip was very runny, like soup. The meat in the dishes were kind of bland. They did give us quite a bit of food but we found ourselves using some salt and pepper, to get some flavor. The price of the dishes were cheaper than other restaurants in the area, so overall a good place to go to get a decent meal and a beer.”

“Stopped by for happy hour on a Sunday. Overall I was very happy with the value and quality of the food and drinks. We tried the four cocktails on the menu and they were all good - my fav was the sandia margarita, but the spicy pineapple marg was also surprisingly good. The shishito peppers were a good value, and tacos were tasty (slightly preferred the al pastor). Overall this place is a great happy hour stop, especially on weekends.”

Not authentic churros, but something out of a microwave and over done so it was like biting into cardboard. “Mediocre tacos. Got charged 55 dollars for 5 chicken tacos and 4 birria tacos because they rang it up wrong. Had to get a refund even tho the counter service could barely understand me. Chicken tacos were super dry and birria is completely sub par. Salsa was the only good thing. Save your time and money. Wish I could get a refund.”

“Best Mexican restaurant for the price…hands down…in this area. First time we went it was incredible. Second time we went it was the same as first…only difference was every one of our 6 orders at the table, which were all completely different, had insanely hot spice to it. We asked others at other tables around us and they said the same thing. I mean I like hot…even Santa Fe hot…but all 6 of us could barely eat our meal because it was crazy spicy. Talked to waiter about it and hopefully it gets better because otherwise the food is that good. Salsa was almost ghost pepper spicy too, we couldn’t eat any of it. Service, atmosphere and prices are great though…we’ll definitely try them a third time. Owner is awesome and hopefully addresses it because the other local non-chain restaurants in the area are horrible vs this one. ☝️ Definitely try this place!”
