“A very beautiful and clean resort. But we will not be back in due to a terrible night of sleep. We were in condo #1. Delivery trucks drive by the back of our condo, right by our bedrooms at four in the morning. And multiple delivery trucks. It was loud! Staff here is up early and thinks it is necessary to cruise by the condos to take your garbage out at six in the morning and then they think they should start mowing the lawn at 7 AM. It was truly a miserable night of sleep. There’s also some thing wrong with the water heater in a condo #1. There was a very loud, thumping noise that would come from it about every 15 minutes during the day and at night.”

“Had such a great time on Milwaukee Boat Line’s Happy Hour Cruise! Such awesome views on the Milwaukee River and of the city from Lake Michigan. Their staff was all very welcoming and friendly and I never had to wait to get a drink. This was my first time doing one of their cruises and it definitely exceeded expectations. They had a DJ on this cruise and my only “complaint” was the DJ wasn’t taking requests but the music was still enjoyable. I would definitely do one of their cruises again!”

“Rob was the best tour guide, I loved all his stories and information. At the start Rob would tell us how long we would drive before the first restroom break, then advice us to buy enough food and water to last us for the day, especially enough water for the walk to the giant sequoias. Rob stopped and many spots to let us take picture perfect photos and was a willing photographer also! It was a perfect day with an exceptional guide & driver.”

However, when the guests before me were led to their table, instead of crossing out her name, staff erased it instead. It wasn't that big of a deal until new customer walked in and wrote name above my name. Meaning I went from first in line to second in line. 🤷‍♀️ Food-wise, noodles were delicious in generous portion. Broth was tasty too but I felt very thirsty afterwards. Would go back to try other dishes.”

“Park in the public parking on Stockyard Blvd. $10 to park all day. Look for the signs with the QR code to pay by phone. They have a cat walk that you will use to cross over the animal pens and come in behind the museum. Quick walk and you get a chance to see the longhorns chilling below. Accessibility wise, this is NOT the parking if you cannot navigate 5 or 6 stairs to get up to the catwalk. The herd consists of some truly amazing specimens! Those horns are much longer than you'd imagine. They will generally have one or two of them saddled up for photos with the kids for free. Donations and tips are highly recommended!! Help feed the herd!”

“Very frusterating they canceled our boat tour we reserved a year in advance because of boat maintenance. They only run boats 3 months out of the year, and you would think they would make sure everything is ready during the off season. However, the few hikes and walks in the area were great, the Ethnobotanical Garden had a lot of local fauna to learn about, and the Oberholtzer Trail was awesome along the marsh and woods. Staff was extremely nice and helpful in finding other things to do in the area and prioritize our time.”

“Kind of out of the way in Davenport, this huge 2 story building has a cornucopia of Central Florida attractions, local history, and jelly, jam, popcorn, orange juice, and numerous other items produced in the immediate area. I had to meet my VA Service Officer there, he drove from Bartow Florida to make it easy for Veterans to meet closer to their home. The attendant was friendly and knowledgeable. She even gave us a local grown orange juice that was the best I ever had.”
