“Petstock Townsville grooming services are not very good. I took my toy poodle puppy there for her first groom and their usual groomer was away. There was a new lady, Leanne, who “groomed” my puppy and did terrible job, disregarding everything we had discussed about what I wanted. I came to collect her after receiving a text, and she had not trimmed her back, front or legs at all. I asked her to trim those areas and she said come back in half an hour. When I returned again she had trimmed her back but not the other areas. My puppy almost fell off the table while she was trimming her. She caught her just in time. About 6 weeks later I booked my puppy in with Charlie who is their usual groomer. After dropping my puppy off, Charlie called a short time later saying that she would be unable to groom her as she had a small area of matted hair on her chest. Her supervisor in Brisbane had advised her that she should not attempt to groom her as she did not have the skills required to groom her to the customer’s satisfaction. Charlie said she was still in training. It seems quite unprofessional to have a trainee groomer as Petstock’s main groomer who does not seem to have the required skills yet, for the job.”

“This is my local pet shop, I purchased six guinea pigs here and many accessories for them,. I also purchased some Krazy crabs for my son. They have a good variety of supplies and the staff are helpful and friendly. They have two dog washes so you can clean your own dog.”
