“My friends and I had a fabulous dinner at Urban Sunset. There were four of us so we were able to try a number of dishes. Everything was delicious, but our standout favorites were: the ceviche, the artichokes (alcachofas) with foie, and the steak (chuletón de vaca). We had a great time and look forward to returning to work our way through the menu! Editing to add some photos from our most recent visit. The Nida Mediterraneo was my favorite, but the Secreto Ibérico and Rocas de Rape y Gamba were close seconds. I have to say, the servers are always so lovely; and most of them speak enough English to answer any questions I’ve had. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“You have to go with the idea of helping and making us aware of how the issue is. The guided tour for children is very well done with an explanatory video that has a story and then they look for 3 clues during the tour. By the way, it is very hot on the route even though they have enabled some stops with shade and one with water sprinklers. It is true that if you want to see chimpanzees or macaques it is not the best place to go, but it is the best place to help them. At no time can you interact with the chimpanzees or macaques for their well-being and you have to think that they will never be able to return to the life that would happen to them. I think they do a good job with the resources they have.”

“We have only used the restaurant; not stayed here. The restaurant has big windows on the sea view but they aren't much use after dark. Service is pretty good and the menu and the food are good, too. This is probably one of the best places to eat in San José and it has the great advantage that it stays open all year, unlike almost all the other restaurants in town.”
