The accommodation included a pleasant view of the downtown skyline and was clean, comfy, and large. The bathroom had everything I needed, and the bed was really comfortable. There were many alternatives for a variety of tastes at the tasty and varied breakfast buffet. Without a doubt, I would advise anyone traveling to stay at this hotel. It was among the greatest hotels I've ever visited.”

“Converted personal lodge of Jaipur royal family. Run as a heritage hotel. Stayed in historic suites with personal terraces . Very opulent. Did not like the pictures on the wall. Pictures of ships have no role in Rajasthan Lobby beautiful with well mounted animal trophies and animal skins. Lawns well maintained. Seating arrangements good. Small pool. Food delightful with great variety. Served with care. Many Rajasthani dishes on offer. Very well managed. Extremely disappointed that the lake is totally dry since 2000. Will certainly visit again.”

“We loved our time at Banjaar Tola. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The chef would cater to specific requests and served delicious local and continental food. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and well equipped. It felt like they had really considered what would be required throughout the day. When it was cold at night, we would return to find hot water bottles in our beds. When I was bitten by a mosquito I found cream in the room. It felt like I would think about needing something, and it would be right in front of me because the staff had already considered it. The only thing I felt there was room for improvement was on the email communication ahead of the stay. This felt impersonal with each reply from a different person and groups of employees at a central office added to the chain with every email. Other than that I have nothing but great feedback.”

Need a mature management I suppose Edited and following added . post a reply from the management asking for areas of improvement : Starting with the Pros Good location , great budget Cons : Continuous sounds of furniture moved about on the floor above, even late into night . Restaurant not properly maintained . Food ordered at room service had too much salt in the dishes . Morning buffet : Had to ask and wait for plates. What is needed : simple standard operating procedures and instructions to the staff.. A Budget Boutique hotel does not mean that quality should be compromised. Offer whatever service you are giving now with a touch of commitment and quality . You are already giving the service so why not with more quality of service ? This can help in improving a customers stay and prompt for a continued patronage”

And one more bad I found that you can't take outside food to hotel. They are forcing to buy food from their canteen. That's very bad. And security guard will ask for tips openly where its part of hote responsibility to provide security to their customers.”

“We stayed in river side cottages and they were great. The size is not too large but good enough. The property is not brand new but not even too old and hygiene was good. Indian food options were also very good and reasonably priced. They arranged for a bonfire as well on a short notice. Service was also decent considering it's a large property. The staff also heated up some of the food we were carrying for the baby. The river is very shallow which takes away a bit from the traditional riverside experience but then this lets you go in the river which isn't possible with deep rivers. Overall a nice place with good staff and management. Location is around 45 min drive from Lansdown so you end up staying at a lower altitude but that's a price you need to pay if you want a river side property in this area.”

“Recently we visited this place, our room was camel hump. The property is beautiful and close to nature. It's clean and hygiene is maintained. Service is good. Food is bit expensive but quality and taste is good. The only drawback here is, I found this property good for couples. If you are planning your trip with kids they will eventually get bored coz there's nothing for kids apart from swimming pool. There are bored games. We visited during rainy season so we had to remain indoors most of the time coz of fear of insects mosquitoes etc. so plan your trip wisely.”

They even showed us around even though we weren't staying at the property. The staff including Raghu were very friendly and helpful. It was just a typical Taj experience. Wonderful as always! Beautiful property, the cottages seemed quite isolated but good for people wanting an escape to an extremely quite place. We really enjoyed the coffee + snacks. Would go back to stay because of the service and Taj experience.”

“Diphlu River Lodge in kaziranga National forest. It's a hundred percent forest resort location of the resort is awesome just a bank of Diphlu River and other side of the river The world famous Kaziranga. We enjoyed our 4 night stay 23 dec to 26th watching the river and migrated birds from the lodge. The room ( cottage) felt like a tree house a huge room and a nice and Cozi bathroom with all the bathroom amenities. The entire lodge area with a lot of space full of trees, paddy fields open space, The housekeeping was an awesome service They cleaned the room twice a day, and most importantly awesome food and very polite and well behaved staff. They always have a smile on their face and greet you full heartedly. Mr. Bijoy Baruah, Manager of the lodge he is a very good hearted Gentleman he personally takes care of all the guests. His team always made sure that we were getting everything before we asked.a surprise for me and my family after a full day safari.When I came to bed for sleep I found a hot bag under the blankets.I did not ask for that. But it was the obias things I pleased in a winter. All the staff members were very polite. We had 5 jungle safaris in 4 days they organised one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Everything was well planned and they provided blankets and hot drinking water in the car ( Jeep non covered car for jungle safaris) And Naturelist as well we are lucky to have a first female Naturelist in Kaziranga her name Naina a young lady with full of effort to spoting birds and animal. She spotted and describes lots of birds and details about them.And help to catch proper photograph as well. We have seen a tiger in Central range . The food quality of the lodge was very good they have plenty of options in breakfast. During our stay they organised a river side Assamese traditional lunch. It was spectacular we enjoyed it a lot. The entire stay was very beautiful in all aspects. I'll definitely come again. Thanks to Mr Barua and the entire team of Diphlu River Lodge for presenting a memorable holiday for me and my family.
