It gets 4 stars as the views are amazing from the lower pitch sites, and I dare say above. It is a very basic campsite for the money so don't go expecting anything other than a pitch and somewhere to wash! But the area is sublime.”

“Incredibly friendly manager and staff! The food was tasty and the view over The Valley is beautiful! In other camps, we were always denied due to full capacity (main season in august). However, we could actually see that the camp still had lots of space, certainly for a small tent, but the staff there wouldn’t really care and just be unhelpful. Here on the other hand, the manager said right away “let’s see what we can do” and found a spot for us. He was incredibly helpful, friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this camp and Riaño in general too, would have loved to stay longer! There’s a huge swing right behind the camp, from which you have a great view! Especially for sunsets and at night it’s beautiful!”

This, perhaps, is just a personal preference thing, but in my and my spouse opinion, the price is a bit too high for what you get. After a stay, I visited a different place with prices at a restaurant 1.5 times higher, but the food was a thousand times more delicious. Again, this might be a personal taste thing. 2. Don't make my mistake and leave expensive items in a room - they might get missing and you won't ever find them again. This was unexpected for me from this level of a hotel.”

People queuing for breakfast next morning so we just went across to the station for food. 15 minute walk to Old Town and the main area for bars restaurants. “The Pyrenees and the Nuria Valley - We arrived in about an hour by train with an organized group of 40 people. The tour is relatively easy (people with small children also came) The weather there was amazing and pleasant, even though we arrived in August which was hotter than usual. There is an observation point that requires a little more effort to reach, but is definitely worth the effort to take a picture there. There is a souvenir shop and a cafe and a hotel on site, you can stay for longer periods There are rowing boats in an impressive lake, and even horse riding and a cable car Definitely recommended!!”

“Quiet and cozy place. An exquisite meal and a magnificent and attentive reception and hospitality service. The problem is with the cleaning staff. Poor, common areas, stairs, reading room, living room, and backgrounds...requiring a vacuum cleaner, soap and water. It would be positive to change the cleaning staff or teach them how to do it. It is a place of 10 but that detail lowers their quality, a lot.”

“The Hotel is located in a small village with stunning views. Unfortunately we arrived on the eve of October 11, the next day being the National Holiday of Spain. Consequently everywhere was closed 😠 the hotel bar and restaurant, local bars and restaurants too....thank goodness we had our emergency rations on board. The room was compact and comfortable with air-conditioning, TV and fridge. Breakfast was coffee and toastada with Serrano ham. Most delicious. Would we return? Yes! Hopefully when everything is open!!”
