“Great experience. Make sure you you YouTube different things if not a camper like myself. Like, organizing a fire strategy, how a stove geater works, portable potty would be great ( it gets dark at night). If hiking and carrying stuff, you better be in great shape. Took me an hour to move my stuff to the honeysuckle. The load was heavy, should of payed for them to carry it. Other than that the staff was Amazing and made everything simple. Will definitely go again and more prepare.”

“Great location. That’s about it. This hotel needs some serious TLC. Maintenance is horrible. See photos but I also put blame to house keeping not reporting basic maintenance attention needs. This is not a difficult thing to do that makes a tremendous difference in appearance. Window were filthy, light sconces falling out out. Lint packed bathroom vent that are falling off. Caulking around tubs is worse that a 10 year olds jobs. Again. They had a scheduled security update at each door, which required new keys to be keyed. We were even at the front desk buying merchandise from the market, and they never told us about this, as we walked all the way back to our room only to find out we had to come back to the front desk and get re-keyed. This was planned and could’ve been avoided. Shift change, notifications and awareness is an easy thing to do. Simple things that could be watched that are clearly not.”

“Great place to stay. We came to Peach Springs to experience white rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon by River Runners. The lodge had very clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant had great comfort food and had the best fry bread. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice gift shop, too. We are looking forward to our next trip.”

“What a wonderful little piece of paradise tucked away in a beautiful part of the state. Wildlife abounds not to mention birds and this wasn’t even high season for birding. Our host was very accommodating and welcoming and we tremendously enjoyed visiting with Esther who prepared and served us an amazing breakfast. She was truly delightful and quite a talented and inventive chef. It was a very nice break for us and we hope to return during the high season for birding. This property is literally next door to Ramsey Canyon Preserve which has wonderful trails and lots of great birding.”

“FANTASTIC CAMPGROUND! Perfect set up for R2R hikers or for people looking to overnight in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The campground sits off the North Kaibab Trail giving some privacy away from the rest of the traffic on trail. Has about 31 spots ranging in number of tents able to be set up. All spots have a picnic table and post to hang your pack from as well as a food box to keep your gear and the local wildlife safe. We did encounter some deer strolling through camp on the day we left so be watchful when your food is out. 10/10 would recommend this stay to anyone staying at the bottom of the Grand Canyon.”

I read the negative reviews and they all look like they were written by democrats from CA who aren’t used to staying anywhere with less than five stars yet. I hope the, like the rest of us, can learn to appreciate being in the woods, staying overnight so you also do it again tomorrow! Can’t fix them.
