“Lots of nice sites here. We're on site 27, full hookups right on the lake. Some sites are pretty steep so be aware of that if you need more tools for leveling your camper. Lots of good 5th wheel spots and many more travel trailer sites. Playgrounds for the kids and wash rooms are available if needed.”

“This picture pretty much says it all. This is a cockroach that came running down my room door frame at the Marriott Residence Inn. Disgusting. To add some context, I stay at Marriott properties a lot. 200 plus nights a year. I’m an ambassador elite member. Many of my stays are in residence inns. Many properties, like this one, are dated and old and a bit dingy. But this is the first one that I’ve actually had cockroaches in. To make matters worse I don’t think they even cared at the front desk. And by the way, if you want any coffee better get there before 9:15. Despite the fact that breakfast is available till 9:30, I couldn’t get coffee after 9:15 when they decided to stop serving. Naturally, I had no intention of eating anything at this filthy place, because of the infestation, but I would’ve liked a cup of coffee to go. Hard pass.”

“Best weekend with family ever! It rained the entire time. The kids played outside 2/3 of the time, we had a fire, made s’mores, went for a hike in the woods, saw some crazy wild animals, the kids fished and got muddy and wet and cold and we had so much food and a very good time was had by all!!! No drama, just fun! The cabins were clean and had everything we needed except coffee and filters. Even a hotel room has that. We had a front porch and a back porch completely covered and latticed in so we were mostly protected from the weather and sat out there a lot visiting with cousins. Our only cons were: 1)mud. A little more gravel would go a long way 2)Our bedding smelled so strongly of chemical flowers I could barely stand it. My cousins wife slept on the couch with her own blanket and her husbands T shirt over a pillow. No more scent beads needed!!! And yeah, that’s about it. Seriously, we were surprised at how perfect the situation was. We had… 7 cabins in all and we had enough room for everyone to gather and yet separation if needed. The trails were awesome! We would definitely go back! Thank you so much!!!”
