“So I've been coming here for years, and never get tired of Lake Murray. The views are beautiful, the park is incredibly well maintained, and there's no shortage of things to try or do. The lodge staff is knowledgeable, and friendly, and the lodge master has been here for years, and you can tell he's passionate about maintaining the quality of this place! It's extremely clean, and every event I've been here for has gone very smoothly, with meticulous attention given to every detail. The rooms are gorgeous, and have views to match! And most if not all of the rooms within the lodge have a balcony that opens directly to a lakefront view. I challenge anyone to come here and not feel just at least a little bit more relaxed and at peace.”

“My daughter recently had her wedding weekend at Post Oak Lodge. We stayed at one of the big lodges for the weekend and had the wedding and reception in the main lodge on Saturday. It was amazing! Every single staff member we dealt with was very accommodating and friendly. They covered all the details. The catering staff was wonderful and the food was beyond our expectations. The grounds are so pretty. It truly couldn't have been a more perfect weekend, wedding, and reception.”

“If you want to visit OSU, this is my most recommended hotel! It is located next to the student union and is a two-minute walk to the library. The reception is very kind🥰The room is clean and spacious, with a great view. The decoration has orange accents and the toiletries have a citrus scent🍊 I left my iPad behind when I left the hotel and the staff here helped me find it😊”

“The room itself was absolutely disgusting. I was not expecting a 5 star experience, but I expected a basic and clean motel that felt safe in. The bed frame had a large metal piece sticking out; the wall unit was so dirty and rundown, the curtains were so dirty and so were the walls — you could see old food and fluids; the bathroom fan was missing the cover and was dirty; the ironing board cover was so stained and dirty that I refused to iron my clothes; I woke up multiple times in the night to the strong smell of marijuana and I walked through a guests marijuana smoke at the front door when I went to check out as he sat there in his pyjamas; the room smelled dirty and musty. I always check the reviews prior to booking any hotel or motel, and I arrived expecting basic but clean, and safe. It was none of those things. It was so dirty and disgusting. I literally stood in the middle of the room for 15 minutes not wanting to stay there. My aunt and uncles were asleep already in two separate rooms because I had arrived on a late flight so I couldn’t leave to find another room. Having my aunt and uncle next door was the only reason I stayed and felt somewhat safe. I slept with the lights on and in my travel clothes and barely slept. Never again will I stay here. I never make reviews but potential customers need an honest review that was felt by my entire group so potential guests can make an informed decision.”
