Coniston Park Coppice Caravan And Motorhome Club Campsite
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Park Gate, Coniston LA21 8LA, United Kingdom

“I can't fault the site but I would have liked much more. We didn't have an awning and the rain was heavy. I imagined indoor areas to eat and hang out and that wasn't available. It's quite minimal with just one food van for two hours in the eve and a small shop. Access to the Lake is great but there's no views of it from the site and not much for teens and families otherwise.”

Parkdean Resorts Limefitt Holiday Park, Lake District

Windermere LA23 1PA, United Kingdom

“Had the best stay at this park recently, the MOST helpful and friendly staff, everyone walking around happy, bar service was second to none and the pub felt like our local. We struggled with directions and finding places around the camp, reception kindly drew me a little map and spent time explaining things carefully to my partner. Will be returning as soon as we can and looking forward to seeing what now feel like friends again! Thank you to all the staff for making our stay the best holiday break we've had since covid.”

“This place is amazing! We stayed in High Dam (myself, husband & dog), perfect location, right on the bank of Lake Windermere & less than 10 minutes from Bowness. The reception staff were friendly & there's a great little shop on site. Great location for boat trips & exploring the Lake District. Can't wait to go back!”

Herdwick Croft Caravan Park

Lake District National Park, Bassenthwaite, Keswick CA12 4RD, United Kingdom

“We had a lovely stay at Herdwick Croft, we stayed in one of the hot tub lodges they have. The site was very quiet and great to relax and a nice view especially in afternoon when the clouds had been burnt off. The lodge itself for beautiful and the hot tub was a lovely addition which we used Daily ( the water was tested and treated daily to keep it on top form). Well furnished and nice and clean and had most things we needed. Beds very comfortable, shower had a good pressure. Deck area is contained so we could the dog walk around without worry he would get out. The only things we felt where missing where: Some robes for the hot tub ( we bought some In Keswick) and somewhere to hang them or a towel for when we exit the hot tub. Somewhere to store wet/muddy shoes with this being the Lake District - just to protect the floors. Also some milk on arrival even if it was just small amount for a cup of tea. As there was no shop on site we had to go into Cockermouth or some. We would definitely return and had a lovely stay, planning a return in the summer.”
