“Really liked the hotel interior. We had a junior suite, which was beautiful. If the room was smaller, maybe I would have felt differently. The service is near to non existent, it seems like the hotel is on a budget and they don’t even give bottled water. Sometimes the concierge is not present and the hotel seems understaffed. Also, the lobby could use some revamp/renovation, such a beautiful building that gets carried away by its lobby. We spent most of the time touring Venice so the setup was amazing, however if you’re looking to stay in a complete hotel and expect more from the service, them this is not a good option. Also, the way to go here is with the junior suite, which really makes it feel like a 5 star hotel. I think this hotel has so much potential under a different management.”

“It's really well appointed just a short walk from all the major tourist attractions. Our junior suite was spacious and the bed comfortable, we enjoyed the canal view. Breakfast was fine, however we decided we'd rather sample the local cafes after the first day and found that worked better for us. Reception staff were helpful. We would return.”

“I wish I could rate this hotel more that 5 stars. If you want to be treated like royalty, this is where you want to stay while in Verona. Literally. It’s actually a 14th Century Palace and has welcomed guests such as Mozart, Napoleon, Margaret Thatcher and Morgan Freeman. Once I read about the former guests, I definitely knew I had to stay here. There isn’t one inch of this hotel that isn’t exquisite with everything intentionally placed. The Renaissance fresco’s, elaborate, venetian chandeliers, and gorgeous marble are too incredible to describe. The decor, the service and location are beyond what you would expect from an 5 star hotel.”

“Don't visit this place, GIACOMO, THE WORST HOST Yesterday at the New Year's party the bar manager (I'm not even sure about that) in addition to conditioning the reservation on a minimum consumption of a thousand Euros and payment in advance of the same, when I left I requested that he return a couple of bottles of wine that I ordered from the staff guarding the door of the bar when I arrived, he became arrogant, yelling at me, pushing me (probably because of the extra drinks he consumed during his work) telling me that he had nothing, that the person to whom I gave it no longer I was there and I could do whatever I wanted, I could comment on FB or Instagram whatever I wanted. “The hotel is the last of the truly vintage Italian 5* hotels. They don't came like this anymore. Very rare to came by a 5* property in Italy these days. It's a real classy property for the elite. Rooms are very large. High end furnishings. The property gives off a vibe of an era of long gone in Italy. The service, layout and setup of the michelin level main restaurant is immaculate. The chief maitre( Mr. Daniel is a true professional in his field. You certainly won't find them anywhere anymore.) “The staff is super friendly and welcoming. As we were checking in I casually mentioned that we just got married and are here for our honeymoon. In the evening there was a knock on our door - they sent us a complimentary champagne! The breakfast is fantastic and both my wife and I think that this hotel is punching well above its weight. Of course the rooms were clean, no complaints about anything. Well, okay - if I can complain about one thing is the poor WiFi coverage in our room. If this is crucial for you, perhaps mention it at the reception and I'm sure they will put you in one of the rooms with better coverage. We would definitely stay here again!”
